I walk around the corner in the old house. I was on a hunt with Sam and Dean in small town Kansas. There was a witch, and I only knew because you got a call friend saying that they tracked the bitch down, then the line went dead.

Murmuring could be heard from behind the wall, it was in Latin, and it was a spell. I heard laughing and I screamed, pain shooting through my throat and head, but it was cut off. I threw my knife and killed the witch.

I hear my name being yelled, but I can't figure out who. I see three figures, but I black out from pain.

---------------------------------------------------------

Waking up in my room back at the bunker, the first thing I see is Sam sitting in a chair asleep. I sit up and slowly try crawling out of bed, but the floor creaks, waking him up.

"Hey Y/N, how are you feeling?"

'Good', I try to say, but no words escape my mouth.

"What?"

Trying again to say a simple word, nothing comes out, and my throat hurts like Hell, even though I don't exactly know what that feels like. Maybe I should ask Dean.

Either way, Sam runs out of the room and brings back Dean and Castiel.

"She can't talk, I bet it was the spell that the stupid witch put on her," Sam explains.

"Relax man, most spells wear off in a day, week at most. She'll be back to herself in no time." Dean says, trying to calm a fuming Sam.

"Dean is right, Y/N is most likely to return to her loud, bubbly self again by the end of the week." Cas then said.

Both boys leave my room so only Sam and I were left.

"Do you want some water?"

I nod my head yes and exit the room, with Sam at my tail.

When we get to the kitchen, I couldn't quite reach the glasses, so Sam grabbed one for me. While he did so, his shirt lifted a bit and I couldn't help but look at his abs. I've had a crush on Sam ever since I began hunting with the Winchesters.

Handing me the glass full of water, Sam looked into my eyes, his green ones full of concern for my throat.

"Are you sure that you're okay?"

I nod my head yes and mouth, I'm sure.

"Okay, Dean and I need to go on a supply run, Cas will stay with you though, make sure the spell doesn't make you do anything odd." He gives me a kiss on my forehead and yells as Dean that it's time to go.

After they left Cas came into the library to check on me. I was researching to see if could find anything that could help get rid of the damn spell on me.

"Y/N," a deep voice says from behind me. I turn to find Cas standing there and I give a wave, knowing that there is no use in trying to talk. "How are you feeling?" I shrug, not exactly knowing how I felt.

"You know, I could try to heal your voice. I don't know if it would work, but I could most certainly try."

I nod in agreement and knowing that it would knock me out, I go into my bedroom and lay down. Cas puts two fingers to my head, and everything goes black.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As I am asleep, the witch said the spell again, but this time, I heard it in English. The events of that night play in my head, and I wake up when I pass out.

"Y/N? How are you feeling?" asks Dean, who is standing beside my bed.

I don't know, I try to say, but comes out as nothing.

"I'll take that as Cas's plan didn't work. Well either way, while you were asleep, Cas dreamwalked into your head and now he knows what your spell is, he explained it to me without a problem but then we went to Sam, but neither of us could say the words. That spell is way too powerful if it affects what we say. You are the only one who can break it."

I nod in understanding. It's not going to be easy, but only I can do this.

================================

Four months later

You still haven't broken the spell. Cas and Dean have tried to explain the situation to Sam many times, but nothing as worked. The spell even wouldn't let them write the correct words down.

"Cas, this is the last day we try to tell Sam about the spell. If it doesn't work, then Y/N's on her own." Dean said to Cas and me. "Y/N, while Cas and I are on a supply run, 'talk' to Sam. Okay?"

I get up and walk out of the room. Telling Sam won't be easy, but it has to be done.

After Dean and Castiel left, I walked into the library knowing that Sam was there. He was laughing, and there was a girl sitting close to him... really close.

I felt my heart shatter, but I walking into the room anyway. Sitting across from Sam, I couldn't help ay stare at the platinum blonde girl sitting next to him.

"Y/N? You okay? You're staring at literally nothing."

I shake my head, not sure of how to respond.

"What's wrong?"

I point at the chair, the girl still sitting there, smirking.

"Y/N, there's nothing there. Are you seeing things?"

Blinking back tears, I run out of the room. How could he lie to me? She was right there!

Entering my room, I close the door, lock it, and cry against my pillow. The door busts open and Sam rushes over to me, the blonde girl smirking in the door way.

"Y/N? What's wrong?"

Not being able to find words, I kiss him. Sam is stunned at first, but soon also melts into the kiss. When you break apart, the girl is gone, the spell must have made me see her, and it's just Sam.

"Sa-Sam?" You say, your voice hoarse, but you pass out.

Waking up, Sam is next to me, twirling my hair in his fingers.

"Hey Y/N. How are you feeling?" Sam asks softly.

"Better than I have been." I say, well, kind of.

Dean and Cas were standing in the doorway, watching.

"Y/N, now that the spell is broken, I can heal your voice. After not using it for four months, it won't go back to it's original state for a while."

"Please, Cas, heal me."

Cas presses two fingers to my throat and I pass out again.

About an hour later I wake up in Sam's embrace.

"Sam?" I quietly say, my voice no longer gone.

"Y/N!" Sam exclaims. "You're better!"

"Yes, I'll explain what the spell was now. I had to confess my love without using words, so the witch took away my voice."

"Well, if that was the case, why didn't you just kiss me before this?"

"I had to do so without fear of rejection, which is far from easy."

"I see, well I'm here now, and I love you too, you had absolutly nothing to worry about."

Sam leaned down to kiss me, and I obviously kissed him back.
