Akame ga kill: family means trouble

Warming up to Esdeath

 Kohei was in the Library that's held within the palace. The book he was reading was recommended to him by the Minister. The book was entitled "The Imperial War.", its about the Imperial war against 7 tribes that attacked the Empire. He looked up from his book when he heard the large door open up. Who he saw sorta surprised him.

Kohei: What brings you here Esdeath?

Esdeath: I've simply came to give you a present.

Kohei took off the glasses he was wearing and took the box wrapped in snowflake wrapping paper. He neatly unfolded the paper trying not to make a lot of noises. In his head he thought it would be love letters like the last few gifts were. (He has a small filing cabinet half-way full of letters from Esdeath trying desperately to win his heart. Run had gotten info from girls he has dated, and they all said it wasn't easy to win him over.) When Kohei removed the top of the box what was laying there was not a love letter like he had been expecting, but was a picture of the only family member he loved, His Uncle.

Kohei: Esdeath, I ...You... This...

He ran out holding the picture she had gave him without finishing the sentence.

                                                    Back in the meeting room.

Esdeath: Bols, i got a question. I gave him a present, and he began to talk but then ran out of the library.

Bols: Well i think he might be warming up to you what was all going on.

Esdeath: Well he was shuddering and blushing.

Wave: Your breaking through that tough shell of his.

Esdeath looked with a triumphant look on her face about what Wave just said. Everyone just looked at each other  and looked away when Kohei walked in and he was wet and looked like he just got out of the shower. when he looked up and his and her eyes came into contact, both of they're faces lit up like a Christmas Tree

Bols: Well this reminds me of when i first met my wife.

Wave: Wait like he's ACTUALLY falling in love with her. I thought he was cold and didn't fall in love real easily.

Bols: Well she did give him a present of something that he had thought was gone forever after his uncle was killed by Night Raid. When he was killed they set the house on fire. So i guess he started to fall for her knowing that she went all the way to bring him something like that.

Esdeath: um Kohei, i was wondering, if maybe later, you could join me on a stroll through the palace garden?

Kohei: Um, S-sure

I know this was a short chapter, but when i was typing this i got a headache and it really started to hurt
