Esdeath walked into Kohei's room and looked at her temporarily crippled boyfriend. When she walked into the room he looked away with a cold stare in his eyes. He crossed his new metal arms. She sat down in the chair next to his bed. she pulled a present out of the bag she was holding and handed it to him. He took it and unwrapped it with the same look on his face he had a moment ago. When he seen what was in it face softened up the slightest bit but Esdeath noticed it.

Esdeath: I noticed you were reading the series when we brought your bag to the palace from the tournament. He opened the book and then closed the book and looked over to her with the one eye that wasn't covered in bandages. Just the Dr. Stylish walked into the room.

Dr: Stylish: What i don:t understand is how you were stabbed by Murasame and are still alive.

Kohei reached over picked up an amulet that had a yin-yang carved into the front.

Kohei: This was giving to me by the only member of my family that didn't betray the Empire and me, My uncle. He was hunted down by the Revolutionary army. i just wish i had a picture of him.

And with this he fell silent and closed his eye. A tear escaping it soon. Esdeath slowly stood up and walked out of the room. Run was waiting at the doorway. Esdeath pulled him to the side. 

Esdeath: Search for an uncle in his family who was assassinated by Night Raid and bring me a picture of him.

              Back in the Dining room before dinner, all Jeagers except Kohei are present

Seryu: so how's Kohei holding up?

Dr. Stylish: He's holding up perfectly fine he should be walking in about one week.

at this moment the door to the dining room opened up. Everyone's eye opened wide. Kohei stood against the wall with a cane in his hand, barely keeping him up. Slowly everyone stood up. Normally Stylish isn't wrong when it comes to stuff like this.

Kohei: Everyone just gonna stand there or is someone gonna come help me?

Seryu rushed over and threw his arm over her head. they slowly made they're way to the table and sat him down between Seryu and Dr. Stylish. Bols and Wave exited the Kitchen with the food and stopped in they're tracks. Bols put the food on the table and went back into the kitchen and came back with a small platter of fish.

Bols: this is something me and wave made when Esdeath told us that you were starting to try to walk so we were gonna bring this to your room, but it seems like you got yourself here to eat.

Kohei: Thanks for this guys. You know Wave your not as Uptight as i thought you were when i first met you.

Wave: Um... Thanks.

Dr. Stylish: That just leaves Esdeath and Run.

Kohei took a bite of his fish and put his silverware down. He then took off the bandages around his head. When he opened his eye that was covered His eye looked like that of a fire drake. when he closed it it was back to a normal state.

                                                  Later that night back in Kohei's room.

Kohei: i'm actually kinda glad I've been injured. Now i know how fast my Imperial arm allows me to heal. You might have won that fight (y/n), but the next one wont be as easy.
