I walk around outside as Damon's eyes followed me. He allowed me to go outside only if he is watching me because that way no one will approach me. After all, he is the prince. But I wonder, if he's a prince then what is his little brother? Also a prince? Shouldn't there be one prince only? How come Damon doesn't get along with his family?

Suddenly, I felt a powerful feeling struck me. Similar to when I found the black rose. "D-damon." I whispered. My chest was starting to hurt, it was forcefully dragging me somewhere and I tried to control myself but it was as if my body was devoted to it.

In a matter of seconds, Damon appeared right before me, "Are you okay? Can you stand?" He asked. "Take me over there." I said, pointing towards the forest. "Why?" He asks.

"Please, just go." I said, the feeling was overwhelming and it was hard to manage. It feels like something inside of me is twisting. He didn't question further as he followed the directions I told him to go. Then it lead us near a river. My feelings kept telling me to go towards the lake for some reason even though it was just water, "Keep going straight." I told him as he nodded. Then a pair of wings came out behind his back and began flying towards the direction I told him.

We just kept going and going until we stopped. We stopped in front of red flower. It was a red Lion Amaryllis. "A flower." I said, looking at him.

"Lucy. Tell me, which feeling was more powerful? Which feeling did you like the best?" Damon asked intently.

"Uhh well uhm this feeling right now is more powerful and well," I hesitated. I never really thought about which ones better but now that I think about it, this flower did give me little pleasure. Is it because Im the vampire princess? I really hate the sound of that.

"The black rose didn't really feel any different but this one feels weird. It's a good kind of weird you know what I mean?" I said, hoping that he would understand the way I talked. "I understand." He said calmly, plucking the beautiful flower. "What are you doing?!" I yelled.

Damon sighed, "Lucy, don't you get it? Every flower you're devoted to is special. Like I said, it can revive someone."

"Are you planning on bringing your mother back?" I accidentally blurted out.

He stayed silent for a few seconds before responding, "No. Im planning on using this to kill my father."

Father? What the, he's so confusing I swear. Why would he want to murder his dad? I mean that's his father. But of course, how could have I forgotten how cruel vampires could be. "But I thought those flowers revives someone?" I asked.

"Yes it does. But if it can revive someone then it can also do the opposite effect. It can kill someone."

"You know what? Im confused. Tell me from the very top and explain it thoroughly." I said.

"You see, my father is the ruler of vampires. But the queen of vampires have more power, strong enough to take down the king too. In the past, my father was a killer. He enjoyed murdering both humans and vampires and my mother didn't like it so she tried to stop him. She couldn't watch her husband die so she killed both herself and my father. Although, she didn't know that my siblings were also part of his little plan. To kill the new queen, which is you-" he explained but I cut him off.

"Wait what? So were not brothers and sisters right? Were from different parents right?" I said.

"Yes we are. Your family was also a noble family but once they found out you were chosen to be the princess, your parents sent you away. You see, a vampire princess is chosen by the power. You seemed to be the strongest child of a noble family so they picked you. Now that my father is revived because of the black rose then I'm going to use the red flower to prevent him from killing you."
