"'Cause I can't wait for you to be my wife, to live this life together. And I won't let you go. I need you to know, that you are my heart, forever. And on and on and on..." - I Can't Wait by Runner Runner. Song to the right! It's a cute song that describes Kai's absolute feelings for Jezebel and vice versa and this song also describes their happily ever after:) <3

I’ve always dreamed that my life would be like a fairy tale. Prince Charming would come and rescue me on his white horse and whisk me off into the sunset to a magical place where we would be together for eternity. But not all fairy tales are stereotyped with a prince on a white horse and a beautiful princess waiting to be rescued. My fairy tale was a little bit different than that.

My fairy tale is about a blind girl who wandered into a dark forest to look for a fictitious monster that was said to steal the souls of women. Of course the blind girl ran into trouble in the forest with no escape. Instead of a beautiful princess being rescued from the forest ruffians by a handsome prince on a brilliant white stallion, an innocent blind girl was rescued by a hideous monster.

Oh but the monster wasn’t an evil soul-sucking demon. The monster took great care of the blind girl by making her meals and bathing her while she was recovering from her incident in his quaint little cottage in the middle of the forest.

The monster began to fall in love with the blind girl for she did not fear him or think ill of him in anyway and she began to fall in love with him, unaware that he was the monster she had been searching for. Then one day the monster offered the blind girl the chance to be able to see even though that might mean she might leave him once she saw his appearance. The monster loved the blind girl that much that all he wanted was her to be truly happy.

So the monster concocted a rather nasty tasting remedy that cured the girl’s blindness. She finally saw the world for the first time in her life. She was so happy and grateful to the monster but when she saw him she did not fear him. Sure she was scared and surprised at first to see that the monster she was searching for was the person who saved her life and took care of her. But she did not run away from him.

Instead, because of her love for him, she desperately wanted to cure the curse that a witch had placed on him a thousand years ago to make him a horrid monster. The monster told her the only way for her to cure him of the curse would be for her to express her love towards him as he did to her. She did as such and suddenly the monster became a handsome young man. He kissed the girl passionately and thanked her for breaking his curse, declaring his undying love for her.

Eventually the girl and the man who used to be a monster got married and had a child together, finally living a normal life with the person that they loved.

“And they lived happily ever after. The end.” I shut the book, placing it on the nightstand.

“Mommy please read the story to me again! It’s my favorite!” the little girl sitting on my lap whined, her blue eyes sparkling with delight.

I ruffled her white-blond hair playfully. “Sorry Isabel but it’s bedtime now. I’ll read it to you again tomorrow I promise. Now off to bed.”

Isabel pouted defiantly, but reluctantly hopped off of my lap making the rocking chair rock back and forth wildly. She jumped into her bed, snuggling into the wool blanket. I got up from the rocking chair and walked over to the bed, tucking Isabel in while placing a light kiss on her forehead.

“Good night sweetheart,” I cooed.

I began walking out of her room, stopping in the doorway turning off the light. As I began to close her bedroom door, Isabel cried, “Wait Mommy!”

Without turning around I responded, “Yes dear?”

“I also think that the monster wasn’t evil. He was a nice monster,” she whispered into the darkness.

I twisted the diamond ring on my ring finger, smiling to myself. “Yes he was dear, he was very nice. Good night Isabel.”

I closed the door quietly, turning around only to run into a warm, muscular chest.

“Our daughter really likes that story huh?” Kai remarked with a large grin on his handsome face.

I giggled. “Yeah the story of our life.”

Kai kissed my forehead tenderly. “Come on Jezebel let’s go to bed.”

And so the story goes... they lived happily ever after... The end.
