Kayla's pov
"Cover for me" I whisper to Troy, he just nodded already knowing what to tell the teacher.
I walked into the woods...the woods that were so familiar to me...so safe...well to me. A place where my dad wasn't ignoring me and shagging girls, a place where Troy's mom wasn't getting hit, and him being helpless.
I took a hit of my cigarette, slowly breathing it out. Crack, probably just a squirrel Crack, okay......
"You shouldn't be skipping...or smoking" said an unfamiliar voice, I couldn't see but I could hear whoever was talking.
"What's it to you?" I snapped "woah easy tiger, I know your type" they replied "my type?" I chuckled "your just a quiet good girl who's being pressured to try smoking and skipping" they replied smartly. I smirked "then why am I out here all alone?" Ha! They probably hadn't thought about that.
