Ryland's POV

SJ: We're just gonna go back to our rooms to freshen up and stuff okay? Meet you guys at the lobby in about an hour?

Me: Right!

I flashed PJ my best smile and winked at her

She turned to his her face but not soon enough. She was blushing madly! Does that mean she likes me back? Hope that is the case...

As the left the room, Rocky attacked me

Rocky: AWW... Little Ryland's got a crush on PJ

He said in a baby voice

Ross: Are you gonna go on a date soon?

He started making kissy faces and noises

Me: Oh save it for your pillow

Riker: Yeah guys, leave Ryland alone. Save some for me, I wanna tease him too after I'm done showering

Riker joked, or was it for real, as he ran into the bathroom

Me: Rydel, do you think PJ feels the same for me the way I feel about her?

Rydel: Dude, totally. Even a blind man can see that

Me: Okay, so? Our age difference

Ratliff: Dude, only a year different is okay...

Once we were all about done showering and changing, we raced to the lobby to find PJ and SJ waiting for us already

PJ: All set? Lets go get some breakfast!

We went to the little food place next to the café and got some pancakes

SJ: Are we done here?

Ross: Heck yeah! Lets go swimming!

Ratliff: Last one to the pool is a rotten egg!

As soon as Ratliff said "Last one", PJ shot off with her brother

Ross: Hey no fair!

We ran to the pool and jumped, with Rydel trailing behind last

Rydel: AWW man!! Who got here first!

SJ: PJ did, she was good at athletics in school

Me: Oh really? You good at football?

PJ: I play okay...

Me: Well then I challenge you to football game. Loser brings the winner out on a date

PJ: I-it's so ON!

We shook hands and we both pulled back. I could've sworn I felt a spark there. I'm sure she felt it too cuz she had the same shocked expression on her face. Just then, Ratliff somewhat saved me from the awkward moment by splashing water at me

Me: Oh it's on Ratliff!

I mouthed "Thanks" to Ratliff before splashing water back at him

We splashed around in the pool for about 3 hours and decided to head back to our rooms to change into dry clothes and shower again

Well, the morning seemed to have past fairly well...
