The weekend is now here, and the Fashion show takes place in the Hotel Cortez tonight. Even though one of our guests is a homicide detective who is staying for a few days, me and Will decided to push it back to the back of our minds. We can't allow one little thing to ruin this weekend. Sure it is one big thing, but we have to be the best hosts we can be. We have to make a good impression to help us out with business.

All the models have their own rooms and there is plenty more room for more guests. I have met Tristan, the one who Will believes will wreck the whole thing. He's only young, but he has a drug problem. Always chasing after the next high. Hopefully, he causes no trouble. Besides, if he does there is already a member of the Police staying at the Hotel. And to be perfectly honest, he can do whatever he wants, just as long as I don't catch him doing it.

Honestly, it would be such a waste if Tristan were to let himself go. Because he is still so young he has a long and bright future ahead of him. But if he doesn't come off the drugs, he will ruin his career as a model. Which would be a shame because he is a stunning young man. All he needs is a bit of guidance. From who, I am unsure. I remember being his age, thinking that I was invincible. That nothing and no one in the entire world could possibly bring me down. But then I grew up, became responsible. Because I had to be. I had to learn how to take care of myself and prepare for the life ahead of me. Sure, I wasn't a model with plenty of money to spend, perhaps that is why Tristan is the way he is. Money and young people usually have consequences. I am not saying that all young people are irresponsible, but some just let the money and fame go straight to their heads. It appears to be the case for Tristan. He is allowed to enjoy himself, live while he's young and all, but he needs to realise that his current lifestyle choice isn't the best one.

I finish up getting ready by applying my light pink lipstick, wanting to look my best for all the guests. Really I just enjoy getting all dressed up, I don't get to do it all that often, well unless Will decides to randomly take me out. Will is also dressed in his best looking rather smart and handsome. Tonight he is wearing a tuxedo with a black bowtie. Just looking at him reminds me how lucky I am to have such a handsome man in my life. I truly love everything about him.

"Olivia, honey. The guests should be arriving anytime soon. Would you go down to the main reception to welcome them? I will be right behind you." Will lets me know that the doors of the Hotel Cortez will be opening very soon. He still has to fix his hair, which won't take very long.

"Sure thing." I agree to go and welcome the guests. Not leaving without a kiss first.

I stand by the door waiting for the first guests to arrive. As I wait, Detective John Lowe came down to the main reception. He noticed all the decorations and such from the floors high above. It certainly did catch his attention. He casually makes his way over to me.

"What's all this?" He waves his hand towards all the empty seats. Wondering what event will be taking place this evening. Whatever it is sure seems important.

"Will is holding a fashion show tonight at the Cortez. We saved you a seat if you would like?" I explain to him what is going on. He seems rather surprised that I thought to keep a place for him.

"Sure, why not?" John gives me a smile, agreeing to attend the show. It's not like he has got anything better to do with his time. Plus he has spent most of the day looking for any kind of evidence that would help him with his murder case. Perhaps this is just what he needs, something to take his mind off of work. Even if it is just for a couple of hours. He may not be dressed for the occasion but that won't stop him.

The first of the guests start to arrive, handing over their tickets to me. I give them all warm smiles and welcome them to our Hotel. Liz makes sure everyone that enters have a drink in their hands. Iris is standing by her desk, she has never been all that interested in fashion. She will attend to the guests that plan on spending the night here.
