The Caitlyn Thing

Alex's POV

"She sits at home with the lights out

Seeing life in different colours

And let me take you away" the lyrics bursted out through my iPod as I was on the way to Skylar's house. We were going to do our first cover today! Finally! I wore my black 5SOS shirt, a pair of skinny jeans, and my black Toms. My hair was curly and actually looked pretty. I did my makeup on the way to Skylars house. She lived about five minutes away.

(Skipping what little ride was left)

"ALEXXXXXXXXXX!" I heard Tori and Skylar scream then run up to me and give me a ton of hugs. "Guys, calm down, I saw y'all like three days ago" I said hugging back, smiling and laughing at their reaction. Skylar had been my best friend scince she moved to my school back in fourth grade. She was a great friend, and the same with Tori, but Skylar was always there for me. "We know, we just missed you so much. Ooh, why did we get dressed up? Hoping that a certain Ausie band might see you? Mainly.... Luke?" Tori said looking me up and down. "Shhh! You know I have legit feelings for him!" I said basically screaming at her. "Haha I know, I'm just picking with you youngin'," she said poking my cheek. "Its okay, Alex, I have legit feelings for Grant, only he's my age and I've actually talked to him. That's right. Be jelly," Skylar said. Grant was a football player who's gone to our school forever. He's hot, I'll admit that, but he is not Luke Hemmings.

"GUYS STAHHPPPPPPP and help me get set up" I said my face bright red from embarrassment.

"Haha, okay" they said. Finally we could get some practice done!

"Wow! That was amazingly perfect!" I said, simling ear to ear and my blue eyes squinting. "Tori, your voice was made to sing that song! And Skylar, that was perfect!" I continued.

"Thanks! You weren't too bad yourself," Tori said coming over towards me.

"No, I messed up a ton, it sucked" I said getting a bit sad. I had always had a reason to be sad though.

*Flashback* (a/n- okay guys, this actually happened, they were extremely close friends of mine, so don't be saying it didn't happen. thankyou.)

I was laying in my bedroom texting Drew, my best friend scince I met at camp a few years ago. We were texting about how he couldn't come and see me this summer at all. I wanted to see him! His brown curly hair, hir brown eyes, his big beautiful smile.

*BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ*

Someone was calling. Looking at the screen, I saw it was Drew. Why was he calling? He's never done this before? What's wrong? I asked myself.

"Hello?" I said into the speaker.

"Hey, did you know an Alison Martin or Caitlyn Martin from camp?" he asked. His deep voice was filled with worry.

"Yea! I loved them! They were like my sisters, why wha-"

"I was worried you'd say that..." Drew said. He was...crying?

"Drew what happened? Tell me now!"

"Caitlyn is dead and Alison is in ICU. They got into a car wreck before school. Noone knows how the wreck happend, who hit them, or anything like that. Al, I'm so sorry" Drew said. After he told me that, it got really quiet.

"How do you know that? You're not friends with them? Drew stop messing around with me! This isnt-"

"I'm not freaking joking! My mom is friends with their dad on FaceBook, he posted it earlier and mom just told me about it. I'm so-"

"NO! It can't be true! Drew I love you but please stop!" I screamed through the phone.

"Why the hell would I lie to YOU of all people about something like this?"

"I don't know...hey Drew I gotta go. I'll text you tomarrow or something" I said my voice begining to get higher. He knew me good, so he knew that when this happened I was about to start crying.

"Okay. Hey, if you want someone to talk to please call me. I love you like a sister"

"Thanks Drew." I said and hung up the phone. Now nothing was holding back my tears. I climbed off of my bed, under a blanket and began to cry my eyes out.

*end of flashback*

"Alex?" Tori asked.

"Wh-What?" I asked shaking my head.

"So?" Skylar asked.

"So what?" I asked.

"Wanna go get icecream?" Tori asked. They knew that the only time I really ever blanked out like I did a few minutes ago was when I got thinking about Alison and Caitlyn.

"Umm not really. I just remembered I have to help clean. My grandparents are coming over" please believe please believe.

"Oh, alright! We'll post the cover on YouTube and pray that people like us!" Skylar said giving me a hug. "Hey, everythings gonna be okay. I know you miss them but they're in a better place now!" she whispered into my ear

I nodded my head and started walking towards my car

Trying to get my head off of the Caitlyn thing, I decided to go check Twitter and see if anyone from Five Seconds of Summer tweeted any. They didn't. Sadly.

(a/n okay guys this is the end of the second part yayyyyy! Like I said, the Alison and Caitlyn thing really happened so don't judge me. Please comment and tell people to read! this my first fanfict, and I'm basing it on a dream I had just adding in some stuff. haha kinda embarrassing:$ but,
