Bacon, Basketball, and the 'L' word

The next morning, I woke up to the smell of bacon. I climbed out of my bed, went to the kitchen, and of course saw Luke.

"Hey Calum, look-"

"No. I do not want to speak to you right now. Where's Alex?" I asked and walked out of the kitchen.

"She's still asleep, don't try to wake her up. She's a heavy sleeper. Skylar and Tori are up though, sitting on the couch playing with Alex's hair." Luke said.

I walked to the living room, Tori was sitting on the far side of Alex, wearing a tank terquiose tank top, pink shorts that seemed to have a basketball on them, and her hair was down and wavey.

"You play?" I asked, admiring her.

"Yup. I've played for six years now" she said. "Alex here though has played for eight. She's just always doing something and she's so dedicated to everything she does."

"If she's always busy, how does she have time to be in a band and why is her band over in Australia? Speaking of the band, who's the leader?" I asked.

"She has band camp over the summer, basketball two months after and the season lasts for four months, she takes paino all year long, she's just always busy, and she begged her teachers and coach to let her come," Skylar said, finally she was talking too.

It was a few minutes, then Alex woke up. She sat up slightly, looked up, and said two simple words that killed me. "Wheres Luke?"

Okay. So please tell me I'm not imagining this. Seriously?! I thought I told Luke to stay away from her! She's mine! I told him this!! Why is she wanting him! He's just gonna screw up her mind. Me, on the other hand, I'll stay with her. Care for her. I thought she was going to be with him so I just went back into my room.

Luke'S P.O.V.

Did I head Calum get up and go off? Yes I did!! That means that Alex wants ME!! I casually got up and went to the couch with the girls.

"What was that all about?" I asked.

"Alex asked where you were, I'm guessing Calum got mad, and went to his room. What did he talk to you about last night?" Tori asked.

"Just that he wants me to stay away from you, but we can all tell I'm not going to," I said with a smile. I mean seriously though, Calum wants me to stay away from Alex? We all know that I'm not going to?

"Why did he ask you to stay away from me? And what did he mean by stay away?" Alex asked.

"Okay I'm gonna be straight up here, I like you. Calum likes you. Last night while we were playing strip or dare, he got all mad that I dared you to take off your bra. He wants me to basically literally have nothing to do with you," I said putting a hand on Alex's leg.

"Are you going to stop?" she asked.

"What?! No! Of course not. I love you."

"But what about your band? Will this effect it any?" Skylar asked. Now that I think of it, it will! But whats a guy gonna do? He knew I liked her, I called dibs on her! And their band is coming on tour with us anyway, so if there is any fights started, they can stop it.

"No it shouldn't, Calum will go pout for a bit and move on, it happens quite a lot when a girl turns him down," I said.

"But, why does he do that?" Alex asked.

"Because he's crazy," I said fast "do you want to go get some breakfast with me?" I asked.

"Not looking like this? I'll cook us some scrabled eggs in the microwave and toast," she said. What was wrong with the way she looked?

"Whats wrong with the way you look?" I asked.

"I just look bad and why do you keep trying to get me to go with you?" she asked.

"Because, we only have a few more days alone together. I'm going to take you out as much as I can," I said.

"Oh okay, I'll go get ready and we can go somewhere," she said. I let out a slight 'yes!' and everyone in the room started staring at me.

"Oh you heard that," I said, face blushing.

Alex's P.O.V.

'Yes!' I heard Luke say and looked at him with a questioning look on my face.

"Oh you heard that," he said, face starting to blush. Awh he's so cute when he blushes! I got up and went to his room, the room that had all of my things.

I picked up my phone and sent a quick text to Bradley, not expecting a reply at the moment.

To: Bradleyyyyy!

Hey Brad! Australias great! The guys are all sweet, we haven't forgotten about yall back home.

I looked for my skinny jeans, the peachy colored ones and a black button up stirt that was kind of see through. I was straightening my hair when Luke came in.

"Those pants look good on you babe," he said, his hand placed on the back of his neck.

"Thanks?" I said, and it came out of more as a question.

"I bet they look better on the floor though," he said.

I didn't know how to reply to that, I mean, how are you sapposed to reply to that? You'll find out when I take them off maybe? No, that's too stupid. I just decided not to aay anything back to him.

"What are you thinking?" he asked sitting in his bed.

"Just about home. I miss it. I miss my friends, family, the way that nobody ever gets judged there. Here, I feel that the only person that knows me is you and also that I'm getting judged because I'm with you all the time when we go out Luke," I said sitting beside him.

Lukes P.O.V

Okay, I just made the stupid decision to tell her "I bet they look better on the floor though" smooth Luke. Smooth.

She didn't say anything and looked like she was about to start crying.

"What are you thinkong about?" I asked sitting on my bed.

"Just about home. I miss it. I miss my friends, family, the way that noone ever gets judged there. Here. I feel like the only person who knows me is you and also thatim getting judged all the time because I'm with you all the time when we go out Luke," she said, sitting beside me. I grabber her hand and started to rub the back of it and I looked up at her to meet her eyes.

"Look, babe. I love you, I will die trying to protect you. And if your friends are judging you, then they aren't real friends," I said and once again she didn't reply.

"I said the 'L' word didn't I?" I asked. She nodded and laid back. I did the same.

"Its cool, I 'L' word you too," she said with a smile.

She got up and picked out what she wanted me to wear and I put it on with her standing right there in the room. I looked up and saw Calum standing in the door way and shot him a smirk that said 'take that Calum.'

Calum's P.O.V.

hey guys! I finally updated, sorry for the long wait, but I've been SUPER busy! like, I made the basketball game and we've had to come in a lot at 5:30 before school and school starts at 7:45, band things, oh! and! I made SEUS Honors Band at Troy University!! so yay for me! but yea that's why I havent updated in a while and I'm so sorry because of it:( here's this chapter! who do you think will get Alex? Calum or Luke?
