Let's Do This Again

*Mia's POV*

Me and Jc stood in the water, and I swear. We stayed in each other a arms for what felt like forever. This moment felt perfect.

With my arms still around him he whispered in my ear, "I really like you Mia. You remember rhat," and he looked me in the eyes.

I blushed, "yeah you told me last night," I smiled, "I like you too you know."

He hugged me again, and then he took my hand and led me back to our towels. I picked up my phone and had 2 missed calls from my mom, 5 from Lexi, and 7 from Mason. I also had a text from Lexi.

Lexi: Where are you?! You said you'd meet us here!

Mia: I'm so sorry! Me and Jc wanted to be alone to hangout, but do not tell anyone! Tell them that we got finished and he took me home.

Then my phone buzzed again. But this time it was Mason.

Mason: Where are you? I kinda missed you at lunch :\

Mia: I'm sorry me and my friend got finished pretty fast and he took me home. I'm sorry!

I looked over at Jc. He held up his phone to take a picture. "Hey! You can't take a picture of me right now! Do you see this hair? This is not picture worthy hair!" I had my hair thrown up into a messy bun.

"What are you talking about, you look beautiful."

I just smiled at him, "well thanks." My phone buzzed again and I looked down to see a new message from Mason.

Mason: No he didn't. You're at the beach...

How did he know that?! My phone buzzed again and it was an instagram notification. I was tagged in a photo from Jc and sure enough it was the picture he had just taken, "you did not!" I playfully punched him in the arm and he chuckled a little.He put out his arms and I scooted to his side so that the space between us was gone. I wrapped my arms around his stomach and he hugged me back. I felt bad that I lied to my friends about meeting them there. In my defense though I didn't lie tho them intentionally. I had no idea we'd agree to leave early and come here.

I looked up to see Jc's eyes staring down at me, "what are you looking?" I said laughing and looked back out at the ocean.

"Just the most beautiful girl I've ever seen," and he kissed the top of my head. He brought out his phone and turned it on, "we should probably get going. I'm meeting up with Ricardo, you know the one from the park, to finish something."

"Yeah I should probably get going too."

We gathered our things and headed to his car. On our way to my house it was silent, not awkward silent though. It was perfect, just like the rest of the day has been. Once we arrived at my house I started to open the car door, but Jc placed his hand on mine instructing me to re close it. He got out and walked to my door to open it. "Thank you," I smiled and we walked to my front door hand-in-hand, our fingers intertwined.

"I had a lot of fun today. We should do this again, how about I take you on a date Friday. We can go to the boardwalk and ride rides, and get food, and whatever we want. Just me and you," he looked into my eyes.

"I would love to!" I hugged him and kissed him on the cheek. I turned around, and opened my door, "call me okay?"
