Friday Night.

*Mia's POV*

"Hey hun. It's 10:30, I want you to get up," My mom walked over to the blinds and started to open them.

"Mom! I'll get up, please just close those," I turned and covered my head with my covers.

She closed the blinds, and walked over my door, "please honey I need you to get up and help me around the house before Jc gets here."

"Right! I'll be up real soon. Give me 10 more minutes." I picked up my phone off of my nightstand and turned it on. I had 3 texts.

From: Mason

Hey I'm sorry for getting mad at you about bailing on us yesterday. Kinda just wanted to hang.

From: Lexi

Hey girl, how'd everything go yesterday? ;)

From: Jc

Good morning gorgeous! 6 o'clock sound good tonight?

First I texted Jc back: Good morning! :) and yeah 6 sounds great!

Then I texted Lexi: Things went absolutley and completely amazing! We're going on the boardwalk tonight! :)

I finally decided to text Mason. I had no idea what to say.

To Mason: Hey Mason. It's all good buddy! We should hang out soon, how about like laser tag or something. We haven't done that in forever!

I swung my legs off my bed and walked out of my room towards the kitchen. I plopped myself onto the stool at the island in the middle of the kitchen. "Whatcha need help with today mama? I have to start getting ready around 4."

"Sounds good to me honey. Where you guys going?" she started smiling at me.

"Just the boardwalk. No where fancy, but it's gonna be great!" a smile grew on  my face. I was so excited, tonight was going to be amazing.

My mom sat down next to me and we started eating our pancakes. When we finished I was put to work. First I vacuumed the living room, the hallways, and me and my mom's rooms. I then was told put away the laundry my mother so kindly folded and put on my bed.

When I was finally done it was already 4:15, so I went to the bathroom to take a shower. I stepped out of the shower, put on my robe, and walked over to the sink to look at my reflection in the mirror. I brushed and blow dryed my hair. I started on my make-up; light layer of BB cream, concealer, and powder for my skin. Then I moved onto my eyes. I applied a little bronze on my lids, brushed on my mascara, and I was done! With make-up that is.

I rushed to my room and glanced at my phone to see it was already almost 5 o'clock. I also saw a text from Lexi and one from Mason.

Ooooooh! Good luck babe ;)

Then I opened the message from Mason: Yeah! It's been ages since just you and me have hung out, I miss hangin with you Mimi! What are you up to tonight?

He hasn't called me Mimi in, I don't know, years I think. I didn't know how to respond so all I put was "Can't tonight, maybe tomorrow?"

I set down my phone, let out a long breath, and headed into my closet to find an outfit. I picked up my high-waisted light wash shorts, a white cross print vest tee and a black lace bandeau to go underneath. I threw this all onto my bed and sat down at my vanity to straighten my hair. When I was finally satisfied I quickly changed into my clothes, and the clock then read 5:30. I went through my shoes and picked out my teal vans and slipped 'em on. I grabbed my bag of the end of my bed; put my phone, eos lip balm, and some money in it. It finally hit me (http://www.polyvore.com/boardwalk_date/set?id=89308853). The butterflies started to fly around on my stomach. I just met this boy two days ago and I could hardly wait for him to get here so we could go on our date.
