you can scream my name at the top of your lungs
or into a cave atop mountain
or on the edge of a cliff overlooking the city
you may scream as loud , as high , and as far as you can ,
but i ?
till the end of time, i will be,
an e c h o
i will never leave your mouth for you to scream until there is no air in your lungs
i will bounce off the walls of the deserted cave and fade into the darkness as if i never truly existed
i will never go further down the cliff than screeching inside your mind
for all of eternity , i will remain ,
the echo of an unheard voice
