Bakura's p.o.v
As we got closer and closer to the gate of my "village" ((should I just call it town?)) I could feel Marik get closer to me with every step, almost as if he was nervous, I tightened my grip on his hand slightly to reassure him and calm him down as Ryou knocked on the door. I watched as Ryou started talking to the guard and gestured to us and the survivors as e explained what happened...or part of it at least; the guard nodded after Ryou finished and let us all pass through, even though he gave Marik a curious look. As soon as Ryou, Melvin, Marik, and I got to mine and Ryou's house we instantly rushed Marik inside and into Ryou's room where Ryou took out a pair of bright purple contacts and a whole kit full o make up before smiling "you ready?"

Marik tilted his head curiously at all the supplies set out in front of him before looking at Ryou with a look that clearly stated 'what the fuck?' To which Ryou just giggled "it's to make you look more alive so you can stay with us with out the worry of being shot in the head." He explained to the confused zombie. Bakura was standing next to Melvin with his arms crossed as he leaned against the wall, watching to see what will happen, Ryou got up and washed his hands so he could help Marik put the contacts in before coming back "ok, the first thing we're going to need to do is put the contacts in...." He paused to take one contact out of its case "so hold still please." And with that he leaned forward and gently held Marik's eyelids open as he put the first contact in "so far so good...now we have to do the other." He picked up the other contact and did the same as he did before then closed the contacts case. "Ok, next step, makeup!" Ryou said smiling causing Bakura to snicker when Melvin whispered to him "why does Ryou keep makeup?" Which made Ryou look at them and slightly pout "jut let me do my stuff." He said before grabbing a concealer brush and the concealer itself ((bare with me if I do anything wrong because I don't use make up often (I mainly use eye shadow,eyeliner,and mascara only for special occasions))) he gently started putting the concealer over Marik's scars and bruises and skin in general, occasional giggling when Marik gave Bakura an occasional 'what's going on' look. After finishing applying the concealer Ryou grabbed another random brush and a container of blush "We might need some to make him look more alive by giving slight color to his cheeks." He explained when everyone in the room except for Marik gave him a look of pure confusion before applying a little to Marik's cheeks "That should've been the last thing but it feels like something's missing..hmm..." As soon as he said that he remembered how Marik had smeared kohl marking on his cheeks when they first saw him "aha! Now I know!" He grabbed some liquid eyeliner and outlined his eyes before adding similar markings to the smudged ones except for not smudged "that's weird...your markings are similar to melvins..." Ryou stated before trailing off "never mind." He said slightly shaking his head. After he finished with doing the makeup he walked Marik over to Bakura "Does it look believable?" Bakura's eyes were slightly wide "yeah.." He said still slightly stunned. Marik smiled widely before walking over to a mirror where his smile widened.
(Time skip)
Bakura got his hood back and put it on before grabbing Marik's hand lightly ((Marik has a new outfit on that's not bloodstained and stuff)). They walked around town for awhile watching as people gave them weird stares because a new comer was hanging out with Bakura which was highly unusual. Bakura took Marik to his cousin's office "we need to get you registered as a citizen here so you won't get trouble." And with that explained and said they got into the line with the other new survivors, they were second in line but we're waiting for a while before Akefia finally started putting down people's finger prints.
(Major time skip)
Later that night Bakura helped Marik wash off all the makeup and helped him change into his pajamas before they finally got into who's going to sleep where.
((I will continue what's happening in this chapter in the next chapter it's just that it's Christmas Eve and I'm kind of tired sorry))
