Bakura's p.o.v
I was very surprised once I heard that Marik's cuts were healing so quickly and just healing in general, heck even some of his zombie bites are almost gone. I walked over to where Ryou was adding a small amount of make up to Marik's face and almost died from how hard I was blushing; Marik was wearing a pair of fake cat ears and a cat tail and so was my brother which made it even worse, "why are you two wearing cat ears?" I asked as calmly as possible while trying to stop blushing. Ryou just stood up smiling since he finished the make up "Well you see, Marik and I were walking upstairs until he saw two pairs of cat ears and wanted us to wear them, so I put mine on and helped him put his on." He explained the whole while still smiling. My blush was slowly decreasing until Marik walked up to me and randomly hugged me which caused it to slightly flare up again, my mind was rushing a million thoughts per minute as I watched Marik still hugging me begin to observe how I'm reacting until they were interrupted when Melvin walked into the room, "hey creampu-" he cut himself off as he looked at Ryou who smiled at him "hello Melvin." Melvin was very lightly blushing before walking out of the room which caused Ryou to giggle.
(Time skip)
Akefia wanted us, as in me, Ryou, Melvin, and Marik, to introduce the four new survivors to the town and how we lived our life here and even explain the rules, which was going to be very difficult because I don't really like repeating rules, it's a pain. I sighed for like the millionth time as I had to listen to Ryou attempting to not sound sarcastic when he said the rules and Melvin adding some commentary, I was about to interrupt to say how stupid all this was until I felt a slightly warm hand on my arm, I looked around about to snap at whoever it was only to see it was Marik who wasn't listening to the rules and was just looking around, I just shrugged it off until my brain thought of something that I had to think about 'wait, Marik wasn't as warm as he was now in the morning....so that must mean he heated up a little more....' When I came to this sudden realization my eyes widened 'so that must mean...he gained a little more humanity.' I hadn't realized that I was staring until I heard an almost clear and in raspy voice say "What's wrong?" The said zombie/human looked just as surprised as me when he covered his mouth while smiling happily "I-i can speak almost normally now!" Everyone turned to look at us as we were making a slight scene and I could've sworn I saw...I think his name was yami... smirk slightly before walking over holding..Yugi's? Hand.

"I told you guys, I know how this feels..." This made almost everyone except the survivors look really surprised "so...wait, that means you were once a zombie?" Marik said with a small smile which caused yami to nod "yup, but it'll take a little more than just small human experiences to make you completely human." He stated with medium interest. Bakura gave him a confused look "You mean he started to become human from certain experiences?" Yami nodded once again "He's half human while also being half zombie....he has to experience every type of emotion or human experience in order to become completely human, including love." With that said yami kissed Yugi's cheek before walking away and not looking back.
