BELLA'S POV

I was so pissed. Why would Emmett act like that all of a sudden? Maybe Jasper would know? We where by a rive stream, covered with trees on all sides. You had a perfect view of the sky. the moon was our light. I was sitting by the water with Jasper to my left, we were both leaning against a tree.

"Jazz why was Emmett acting like that?"  I spoke looking at him. So I could read his face.

"Remember when Jake came and he took you into the woods and he broke up with you?"

"Yeah." What does that have to do with anything?

"Well when you didn't come back we went looking for you. We finally found you. You were crying, on the ground curled up in a ball, barely moving. Jacob was nowhere in sight. Since then Emmett vowed to never let you out at night by yourself or to go into the woods."

"You do know that when you guys are at work I go here right?"

"I know, but he doesn't." I felt a bit guilty for the way I treated Emmett, but he deserved it for how he treated. Sure he's my big brother and all, but that doesn't mean he could do that to me.

"Thanks."

He looked at me confused, "For what?"

"For being on my side, for letting me come here, for being there for me when I need you, and for just being you." I was never one to express my feelings, but when I did I knew it was for a good reason.

"Your welcome." My phone rang I pulled it out. Jake? What was he calling for? I can't answer it . I just can't. Jasper saw my face and pulled the phone out of my hand. He answered it for me.

"Hello Jake." I couldn't hear the other end of the conversation. Which was good 'cause I don't know what hearing his voice would do to me.

'Bella's not here at the moment." Wait what did I just hear? Did Jacob just ask about me? Why? He broke up with me.

"Sorry, but she's not gonna be back for sometime and before you ask I don't know when she's coming back."

"Sure I'll tell her. Bye." I looked at Jasper and he looked away.

"Jasper what did he want?"

"Nothing. Let's go back home."

"Fine, but I wanna know what he wants and why he was asking for me."

"Fine, but Em has to know too ."

"Fine. Let's go." We both stood up and walked back. I kept asking him what Jake had said, but he didn't answer.

EDWARD'S POV

Both Bella and Emmett were pissed.

"What the hell Emmett?" Rose said.

"What?"

"Why'd you make your sister mad, and why did you act like a total jerk?"

"Rose you don't know what happened to make me act like that, or what happened last time."

"Then tell us so we can understand."
