"Levi!" A large weight lands on my back, bouncing up and down.
"Eren, what the fuck?"
"Merry birthday, my love" He grins, kissing my cheek.
"5 more minutes"
"No! We have presents and shit to unwrap"
Eren drags me out - and I mean dragged me, pulled my body until I hit the floor, didn't end well for him.
Rubbing his arm, we make our way downstairs, our eyes assaulted with what can only be described as Eren at Christmas.
"Open this first" Eren says plonking down on the couch next to me.
He holds out a box with the words "To grumpy pants, from Santa"
"Eren, I'm twenty eight years old, I know Santa's not real"
"Then how did he give you a present" Eren replies cheekily.
I unwrap the gift and gasp when a handheld vacuum is inside.
"Oh Eren, thank you"
"You're welcome"
"Ha, told you Santa isn't real" I smirked in victory.
"Shut up Levi"
We continue opening the presents, Eren getting the most beautiful smile when he opens the box of art supplies, and how he laughs his head of at the mug with "blood of my enemies" printed on the side"
Almost all the way through the presents. A present, no bigger than a necklace box is all that's left.
"Go on, open it" Eren says quietly.
I grab the box, slowly removing the paper until a black velvet box sits in my palm.
Eren slides down onto the floor, giving him a look of confusion, he gestures to the box.
Flipping the lid a beautiful silver ring with a single small black gem, most likely onyx, stares back at me.
My eyes go wide, Eren gets on one knee.
"Eren.."
"Levi, I know we haven't been together for ages but I love you and I think that you complete me, so marry me"
I can't breathe, I just stare at the beautiful creation that is Eren Jaeger.
I nod.
"Yes, oh my fucking god, yes Eren!" I say holding out my left hand.
He slides the ring onto my finger and lets out a breathtaking smile.
"I love you" I mutter.
"I love you" He whispers bringing our lips together in a loving kiss.
"Merry fucking birthday to me"
"Hello my lovebugs! Tis I Hanji Zoe!"
"Glasses"
"AND her loyal sidekick...Captain eyebrows!"
"Hi Erwin"
He chuckles walking in, Hanji struts in after him.
"So what are you guys doing on the floor?"
"Me and my fiancé, were celebrating birthmas"
"FIANCÉ"
"Congratulations you too" Erwin says smiling like a proud father.
"Thanks dad"
"AWWW you guys are getting married! Dibs being the maid of honour"
Eren lets out a laugh, of course Hanji"
They sit down next to us, exchanging gifts before a knock at the door breaks the moment.
Eren gets up to answer it, immediately hugging who I guess are Armin and Mikasa before inviting them in - Yup it's them.
"They smile and sit down, passing gifts around and making small chatter.
I smile to myself, catching Eren's eye, this birthmas couldn't get any more perfect.
