My sister got me sick for Christmas.

Derek sat across from Galaxy they had returned from the woods and Derek honestly didn't know what to think. Galaxy sat quietly letting the wolf process everything he had told him. Derek sighed rubbing at his scruff, he looked up at Galaxy huffing.

"So you're telling me my unborn child will end up being a supreme wolf that will also let them shape shift into anything they want?" Derek spoke shaken up by the thought of his kid having so much power.

"Yes, and they'll make a fine supreme." Galaxy reassured him, or at least tried to.

"I don't want that to happen, i want my baby to have a normal life or as normal as they possibly can." Derek grunted frustrated.

"You're child is destined for greater things, babywolf." Galaxy frowned.

"We'll move away." Derek concluded.

"That wont do much." Galaxy shrugged.

Derek let out a frustrated grunt,"We'll leave out of the country. "

"Stiles wouldn't do that." Galaxy pointed out, "and I think we both know that."

Derek scowled standing up his knees feeling weak under him. He didn't want their baby to be in any type of danger, but here he was finding out that they would be super powerful. Practically a beacon of danger. He rubbed at the bridge of his nose deciding he'd need to speak to Stiles tomorrow, Galaxy was watching closely, he already knew the decision Derek had made.

"I'll be going." Galaxy stood up, "until we meet again, babywolf."

"Just-let me tell Stiles, okay?" Derek looked at the grinning fairy.

"Whatever you want." And with that Galaxy was gone in a puff of pink.

Derek grunted something about 'damn fairies' under his breath before slowly making his way towards the kitchen. He wasn't sure what direction he wanted to take this situation, they still hadn't told the pack either and they didn't want to wait too long. Derek grabbed his phone and looked through his contacts stopping at Stiles's name. He had already cancelled the appointment it's not like he could go with so much stress pumping through his veins.

I'll tell him tomorrow, let's just think about the right way to tell him. I don't want to freak him out. Derek chewed at his lower lip gripping at the kitchen counter, he had no idea how to come out with the news without sounding like a mad man. He just shook his head and sighed ready to just go back to sleep and give up. That's not fair to Stiles, I'm just gonna have to suck it up and tell him.. Tomorrow.

After that thought Derek could hear someone coming up the steps to his loft and he stiffened he was already tired from having enough drama in his life. He sighed walking out of the kitchen to see who was now opening his loft door, to his disdain it was Peter who looked completely frazzled.

"Nephew, you have to help me!" Peter slammed the door shut his hair askew.

"Peter, I can't keep doing favors for you." Derek sighed annoyed.

"Fine then help yourself and kill the fucking druid that's five steps away from getting into your loft." Peter was catching his breath.

"What the hell!" Derek shouted giving his uncle the best glare he could muster.

"Do we have mistletoe?" Peter was frantically rushing around the kitchen looking for what they needed.

"Yes, it's in the top cabinet." The druid wasn't the only thing that was going to kill Peter.

After fighting off the druid Derek found himself bleeding through his shirt, a rather large gash had formed on his torso. He looked at Peter who was doing his best to figure out how to make Derek heal again. Derek coughed, blood filling his mouth. He put enough pressure on his stomach trying his best to stop it from bleeding.

"We'll go to Deaton's!" Peter wasn't any better, his arms were covered in scraps and bruises, his lip was busted, and he was sure he had a cramp in his thigh.

"Okay." Derek slurred feeling a bit light headed.

"Okay, um, i-i need to find my car keys." Peter was panicking.

"Then go." Derek sighed his thoughts fuzzy.

Peter rushed out the room and Derek took this time to slowly grab his phone and call Stiles. The thoughts that were clear were only about his mate. He just needed to hear Stiles's voice for some ounce of reassurance. It rang twice before Stiles answered it, Derek sighed in relief his breathing shallow.

"Hello?" Stiles answered.

"Hey baby, um I can't make it to the ultra sound today can we postpone it tomorrow?" Derek's voice was shaky and he regretted calling Stiles it would only worry him.

"Der, what's the matter." Stiles suddenly became concerned for Derek.

"Nothing, I just I can't today." Derek swallowed knowing that his lie would only piss Stiles off later, "tomorrow is that okay?"

"Yeah it's okay, but what's the matter?" Stiles urged, Derek could tell him, but that'd be bad for the baby.

"We'll talk, see you baby." Derek murmured avoiding the question all together.

"See you..?" Stiles breathed, Derek hung up clutching his phone.

Peter rushed back in and held his keys his eyes wide. Derek raised an eyebrow at him and Peter rushed to his side offering him his hand. Derek took it putting most of his weight on Peter.

"I'm killing you next." Derek grunted.

"Just after you heal, okay?" Peter murmured softly.

"Okay."
