"Hey mum."
A woman, who probably was in her mid-forties, was sitting on the bed reading a book. As soon as she heard amy though she threw it on the floor and rushed to her. The woman was hairless.
"Amy, baby!" she said excited and threw her arms around her. When they pulled away, the woman turned to Michael, who was just standing there awkwardly, trying not to draw attention to himself.
"That's Michael?" she asked her daughter, who nodded.
The woman cheered. She went on and hugged him. "It's so nice to meet you. Amy just doesn't shut up about you." She pulled away soon though, as if she had remembered something. And she had. "I'm so sorry. I should put my cap on, oh God where is it?"
"N-no," Michael stopped her almost immediately. He was afraid to speak properly, in case he said anything that would offend the woman and make her hate him. "You don't have to."
"Oh," Amy's mum said with a sad face, but a nanosecond after smiled. "I'm Caroline."
"I'm Michael," he said, even though he knew that she knew his name.
"He's so cute," she said to Amy, who blushed.
Michael laughed. He found Caroline really cool. And she found his hair cool, as she told him later.
