"Ask her, ask her, ask her," Tyler (Posey) ordered while waving his hands up and down like a kid waiting to get a lollipop. He knew Dylan liked you and he knew you liked him too, but he also knew you both were completely oblivious to the matter. He figured he'd have to get Dylan to ask you on a date soon so the chance wouldn't pass.

"I-" Dylan began to speak in a nervous tone before Tyler cut him off.

"No! You are going to ask her out. Now. Go!" Tyler said pointing in the direction of your house. "Don't make me get out of this car, pull you out and throw you on her doorstep."

"Okay! Okay. Geeze dude," Dylan mumbled as he slowly got out of the car.

The second he closed the door, he heard Tyler yell "Good luck, buddy!" as he drove off leaving Dylan in front of your house.

"Tyler! Ty- not cool dude! Not cool at all!" He said as he scrunched his nose and punched the air in the speeding cars direction.

Of course, you heard Dylan yelling at Tyler. You looked out your window and seen Dylan nervously pacing back and forth at your doorstep. It looked like he was talking to himself. You chuckled because you always thought his nervous pace was cute.. although you were starting to wonder what the heck he was doing talking to himself at your doorstep in the first place. You got up and headed downstairs and opened the door, "Hey! No soliciting!" you joked.

Dylan jumped up, obviously not expecting you to open the door, "(Y/N), uh, hi!" he said wiping his hand from the front of his head to the back in a way that made him obviously nervous.

You giggled, noticing his every movement, "hi. What're you doing here?"

"I, um, well. Tyler just dropped me off," at this point he turned his head to the side and murmured "that jackass." He shot his attention back to you, "and, uh, here we are."

You smiled, tilting your head curiously at this silly boy chatting you up on your doorstep. "I see that. Here we are."

Dylan's eyes were piercing yours before he looked away (see this cute gif).

You stepped outside with him closing the door behind you and motioned him to sit down next to you on the cute swinging bench you had on your front porch, "What's wrong?"

"Wrong? Oh, no, nothing," Dylan chuckled in a tone that was anything less than convincing. "I just- Well, I wanted to ask you something," he said focusing his eyes on yours.

"Ask away!" you smiled.

Dylan took a deep breath and opened his mouth but no words came out.

"Dylan," you said while putting your hand on his, "you can ask me anything, you know."

Dylan began to form a sentence just as Tyler pulled back into your driveway, "Yes! You asked her out! She said yes! Awh, how cute is that?! I knew you could do it man. What were you scared for?" Tyler was smiling with uncontrollable excitement until he noticed Dylan's extended neck, mouth wide open, and squinting eyes meant that he had not yet asked you out. "Oh, I'm sorry guys, I think I pulled into the wrong driveway. Yeah, that's it! I'll just- yeah." He stuttered as he hurried back onto the road and drove away.

With your hand still on Dylan's, you tightened your grip in a loving way, "Asking me out, huh?" you smiled.

"I was trying to, yes," he chuckled. "Is it too late to get a yes in asking you to be my girlfriend? Or did Posey blow it for me?" again, he turned his head to the side and murmured "that jackass."

You smiled and leaned to your side to give him a gentle kiss on his cheek, "It's going to be a yes."

"You sounded like an X Factor judge," he smiled at you, trying not to giggle like a little fangirl.

"A very happy and impressed X Factor judge, though." you smiled back at him.
