chapter -7- "one call away"

Charlie's POV :

I woke up , I took a shower and changed my clothes then went to Tommy's house to take back my phone .

I knocked the door , Tommy opened it and he was topless

"Charlie , what are you doing here? " Tommy asked

"are you alone or , with someone else? " I asked

"alone" Tommy replied

"wear a T-shirt because your chest is disgusting" I said

"you meant to say 'wear something because I'm gay and I can't handle to look at you like this without wanting to kiss you' " Tommy said

"shut up , whatever I came here to take my phone because apparently I forgot it In your car" I said

"ooooooh , so you didn't call Meghan last night , what a shame she must be very pissed off right now" Tommy said

"I'll go to her house now and apologize" I said

"I'm not driving you there" Tommy said

"I didn't ask you to , just give me my phone" I said

Tommy went and wore a T-shirt , then he went to his car and gave me my phone

"I'm going to her house now , wish me good luck" I said

"Nah , I'll wish you bad luck" Tommy said

"you should win the award for 'worst friend of the Year' "I said

"I know" Tommy said

I walked to Meghan's house , it wasn't that far it took me 15 minutes from Tommy's house to reach there , and it took me 20 minutes to reach Tommy's house from my apartment .

I rang the bell , Ryan opened the door

"Charlie? " Ryan wondered

"hi Ryan , is Meghan home? " I asked

"yes" Ryan replied

"can you tell her that I want to see her?" I asked

"no , she's asleep" Ryan Said

I looked at my watch , it's 12:20 in the afternoon , then I returned my face to Ryan

"I know , don't ask" Ryan said

"OK , can you tell her that I'm sorry for not calling her yesterday because I forgot my phone at Tommy's car" I asked

"OK , I'll tell her , anything else? " Ryan asked

"when does she wake up usually? " I asked

"she wakes up usually at 10 or 11 in the morning , but she wakes up at 1 in the afternoon and sometimes more late when she's heart-broken" Ryan said

I giggled , "OK thanks man , see you around , don't forget to tell her" I said as I was walking away

"I won't" Ryan said

Meghan's POV :

I woke up , I was still heart broken because Charlie didn't call me yesterday , I'm feeling like a fool

I took a shower and I've changed my clothes , I stayed in my room practicing for the performance that I have to do tomorrow , I'll have to sing a medley for two of my songs .

I went to open the window of my room , OH MY GOD!!!!!

I saw Charlie walking to my house

I ran downstairs quickly yelling Ryan's name

"what? " Ryan asked

"Charlie is coming here" I said

"so?" Ryan asked

"I don't want to talk with him" I said

"but why? " Ryan asked

"long story! , please just don't tell him that I'm home" I said

"OK , what if he asked about your location ?" Ryan asked

The doorbell was rang , "tell him anything tell him that I'm still sleeping" I said quickly and ran upstairs

/after a while/

I was snooping from the window , charlie left so I went downstairs

"what did he want? " I asked

"he wanted to see you" Ryan said

"and what did you tell him? " I asked

" I told him that you're asleep" Ryan replied

"did he say anything else ?" I asked

"yeah , he apologized for not calling you yesterday , he said that he forgot his phone at Tommy's car" Ryan replied

"so he didn't call me because he didn't have his phone , not because he didn't want to" I said

"yeah congratulations " Ryan said then he left somewhere

Until he calls , I'll go complete practicing

Charlie's POV :

It's 2 in the afternoon , she should be awake by now , OK I'll call her

"hello" I said

"from the other siiiiiiiide , I must have called a thousand times , to tell you I'm sorry for everything that I've done but when I call you never seem to be home" Meghan sang

Oh my god , her voice it's amazing , and it was funny that she sang Adele's song 'Hello' when I said hello .

*giggles* , "you're voice is killing me !" I said

"thank you" Meghan said

"I'm So sorry that I didn't call you last night" I said

"it's OK , ryan told me why" Meghan said

"so you're not sad or angry?" I asked

"I was a little but not anymore" Meghan said

"I'm sorry if I hurt you" I said

"I said it's OK Charlie , so what are you doing? " Meghan asked

"nothing actually , what about you? " I said

"I'm practicing my vocals" Meghan replied

"you are? " I asked

"yeah , I have a performance to do tomorrow" Meghan said

"can I come and see you? " I asked

"why not ? , it would be better to have you around" Meghan said

Then I heard a loud noise coming from Meghan's side of the phone

"what was that? " I asked

"my brothers making mess , god I can't focus on practicing with them messing around" Meghan said

"why don't you come to my apartment ?, it's a quite place and I can help you practice" I said

"you can? How? " Meghan asked

"I can sing and play guitar , I play on my guitar when I'm bored and I create hits sometimes" I said

"really , that's amazing , I would love to hear you sing" Meghan said

"so you're coming?" I asked

"yeah , but I don't know where your apartment is? " Meghan said

"I can come and get you" I said

"no you don't have to , just sent me your location on the map" Meghan said

"OK , I'll send it to you now , see you after a while" I said
