chapter -3- "Another chance"

Charlie's POV :

Tommy drived me home , "thanks man" I said

"anytime , what are you going to do tomorrow?" Tommy asked

"I will go buy some stuff at target probably , I need a little change" I said
"that's cool , I think I'll come with you" Tommy said

"OK , you will pick me up at ... Hmm I don't know I'll call you when I wake up" I said

"*laughs* , Ok , see us tomorrow" Tommy said

I got out of the car and I went inside my apartment , I was exhausted so I just lay down on the bed.

Before I fell to sleep I was thinking of meghan , So she is single , she is totally available.

But that may not last , I need to get her fast before anyone else does , I've never felt attracted to a girl like I did tonight to Meghan.

I was shy to ask her out and that never happened before , I'm not a shy person but I was with Meghan , she is different , she is the one.

I need to do something but Ahhh (I was yawning) I'll figure it out tomorrow , I'm sleepy right now.

I fell to sleep.

Meghan's POV :

"can you sleepover in my place tonight ? , I'm kinda depressed" I asked Kelsey

"I would do anything for you , even sleeping in the same house with your brothers" Kelsey said

"thanks" I said

"why do you live with your brothers , can't they live somewhere else?" Kelsey asked

"family rules , my mom and dad are worried to let me live alone in a house , well they may change their mind if I find my Prince Charming" I said

"you will , don't worry you will" Kelsey said

"I really hope you're saying the truth" I said

"let's go" Kelsey said

We went to my house , I opened the door and we saw Ryan cuddling with a girl on the sofa.

"Ryan!!!!" I yelled

"Hi , my name is Miranda" Miranda said

"nice to meet you Miranda , now get out" I said

"no don't leave" Ryan said to Miranda

"it's OK , I'll see you in another time" Miranda said seductivly

Dear god! , ugh I get annoyed when I see other people cuddling , it makes me sad because it reminds me that I don't have what they have.

Miranda got out of the house , "seriously !, it was hard to get her" Ryan said

"my house my rules , and don't cuddle on the sofa again ugh didn't I give you a room in this house?" I said

"I like to cuddle in front of you" Ryan said

"you jerk" I yelled laughing hitting him on his back , while he was laughing too and repeling my hits.

"I'll go sleep , don't wake me up early tomorrow" Ryan said

"actually I will , I want to go with Kelsey to target to buy some Christmas things and you're going to drive us" I said

"I won't , just take a taxi" Ryan said

"you know the rule , you live in my house then you do what I request" I said

"ugh fine whatever" Ryan said

Ryan went upstairs to his room , "why are we going to target tomorrow?" Kelsey asked

"I don't know I just feel like going there tomorrow" I said

"hmm OK" Kelsey said

We stayed up a little then we fell to sleep .

Charlie's POV :

I woke up , I took a shower and changed my clothes , I ate what I could find in the fridge , then I called Tommy to come over so that we can go to target .

I greeted and shook hands with Tommy , we went to the closest target shop and we started wandering around .

"it's her" I said

"her , who? " Tommy asked

"Meghan trainor , she's right there" I said

"dude if you really love her then this is your shot , go and ask her out" Tommy said

"I would but , I don't know I get shy with her" I said

"just go , it's now or never" Tommy said and he pushed me .

I started walking slowly to Meghan .

Meghan's POV :

"Oh my god!! " I said

"what , do they have sales ?" Kelsey asked

"noooh , it's something more amazing" I said

"what is it?" Kelsey asked

"that guy is walking towards us" I said pointing to Charlie

"so , it's no big deal" Kelsey said

I remembered suddenly that I didn't tell Kelsey that I have a crush on him .

"yeah it's no big deal I'm just saying this" I said

"ahhh , excuse me , can I talk to you" Charlie said

Oh my god I was so nervous .

"yeah sure of course why not what do you want to tell Me?" I said fast making my self seem desperate.

"Ahhh , Ahhh" Charlie was trying to say something but he looked so shy

"do you want to ....." Charlie was saying slowly but Kelsey interrupted , "hey Meghan look I found these shoes they will look amazing on you" Kelsey said

WTF Kelsey?!!! , why did you interrupt him , what if he was about to ask me out?!???

"yeah you're right I will take them" I said

"what were you trying to tell me?" I asked Charlie

"Ahhh yeah I was trying to ...." Charlie was talking slowly and kelsey interrupted again .

I'm gonna slay you Kelsey??!!? , (I won't actually do that I'm just kidding) .

"what's your name? " Kelsey asked Charlie

"my name is Charlie , Charlie puth" Charlie said

"Charlie , maybe you need to come to Meghan's birthday party tomorrow , even though it's for family and friends only but I'm sure you will be welcomed" Kelsey said

Charlie was staring at me , probably waiting for my approval.

"yeah sure you should come it would be fun" I said

"OK , can I bring my friend Tommy?" Charlie asked

"you mean that Hottie over there , of course bring him" Kelsey said

"OK I need to to now , see you tomorrow" Charlie said then he left.

"what the hell? Why did you invite him? , I mean I'm glad you did but why? " I asked

"girl , he clearly has a crush on you , and you seem to like him , I was trying to be a good friend and get you too together" Kelsey said

"I don't know , I mean I do have a crush on him but I'm Afraid that he might not feel the same" I said

"he does , stop being negative , he was blushing while talking to you , He loves you and you will see " Kelsey said
