~Harry's POV~
'She better not do anything weird today.' I slowly approach the common room and whisper the password. (Y/N) loves to hide from me and scare me, especially on holidays. We've been friends since we were young. I would love to make her mine. What better Christmas gift could I give her? I walk in the common room and see her sitting by the tree with Ron and Hermione.
"Happy Christmas, Harry." Ron waves to me. He's holding up a homemade sweater with a large H on it. "Mum made us all sweaters. Here's yours."
"Happy Christmas, Ron. And thank you." I put on the sweater and take a seat between Hermione and (Y/N). "Happy Christmas, ladies."
Hermione smiles and nods to me with a mouthful of cookies.
"Harry, you look handsome in that sweater." (Y/N) giggles and smiles.
"I could say the same to you." 'What if she says no? Oh dear... I don't have a backup gift.' There's an awkward pause before she clears her throat and speaks.
"I, um, have a present for you.... It's not that big, and it's kind of invisible, but I hope you like it..."
~(Y/N)'s POV~
"I could say the same to you" Harry looks at me and smiles his goofy smile.
'Alright. It's time to ask him. Just breathe.' "I, um, have a present for you.... It's not that big, and it's kind of invisible, but I hope you like it..."
He looks at me confused. "What? Kind of invisible?"
"Yeah." You let out a small laugh and sigh. "Harry, we've been friends for years. I remember helping you deal with the Dursleys long before you knew you were magic."
"Those were fun times. I remember the time you turned Dudley into a worm when he was sleeping." Harry laughs.
"That was pretty fun. Well, what I'm trying to say is, I would love to continue our friendship, but with a bit more flair. Harry, will you be my boyfriend?" Your face is red.
"I was going to ask you the same question. I couldn't imagine my life without you. You're everything I could ever ask for, (Y/N). There's no way I would say no. I love you, (Y/N)."
"I love you too, Harry. Always, until the end of time."
"Happy Christmas, love."
"Happy Christmas."
