The first time we met I didnt know what to do
I was scared because I am shy and its hard for me to let people in
But you showed me that it is ok to be different
My faults and imperfections were everything you loved
When I left I hurt you, but I also hurt myself
I came running back for forgiveness
Understanding and love is what you gave me
I write this because I want to remind myself to not take you for granted
Your heart and kind nature helps me love and grow stronger each day
My other half is inside you
