Chapter 7- Amber

I watched as the lads were recording, and they sounded amazing! I really liked the songs titled Hey Everybody! and She's Kinda Hot.

After they had recorded a few songs, I saw that the guys were saying some stuff to Calum. It was mainly Ashton speaking, and Calum looked very angry.

After a while, Calum stormed out of the studio with a look that told me that he was furious.

"Calum?" I said softly, but I didn't think he heard me.

Ashton then came towards me and said, "He said to tell you that he had to run an errand, but I think you should know what's really going on."

"What is it Ashton?" I asked confused.

"He's going to go 'talk' to Ryan, your so-called boyfriend," he replied.

"Why would he do that?"

Ashton sighed and told me of the things that happened with Ryan before the accident. My eyes grew wide.

"I knew I couldn't trust that guy! Calum had pushed me and pushed me to give him a chance, but I told him that I didn't trust him. I have to go after him!" I said.

"No! Don't do that!" I heard Luke shout.

"And why shouldn't I?" I asked.

"He's probably gone by now, and he wouldn't want you to witness whatever is about to go down," Luke replied.

I looked at Ashton and said, "You said we were pretty close before this whole accident, right?"

He nodded, and I said, "Take me to him, then. If we were as close as you said, then take me to him. I need to go after him."

He hesitated before he said, "I don't think that's a good idea, but if that's what you want, then I'll take you."

I smiled and said, "What are we waiting for, then? Let's go!"

When Ashton and I came out of the studio, I saw Calum driving away.

"We've got to follow him, and we need to be quick," I said.

Ash nodded.

When we got to his car, we quickly climbed in and left.

After about 20 minutes, Calum finally stopped at an open field.

Ashton parked right beside him, and I quickly ran out as soon as he stopped.

"Calum!" I shouted, and he turned around.

"What are you doing here!? I told Ashton to look after you at the studio!" he shouted back.

"He is looking after me. I told him that I had to go after you! What are you even doing anyway?" I said, and he looked even more angry.

"Ryan is not who he says he is, and I'm gonna make him pay for what he did to you!"

"It doesn't matter what he did to me! Ash told me what he did, but that doesn't give you the right to hurt him! What you need to do is call the police and have him arrested, or at least a restraining order!" I shouted.

"I've already called the police, they should be here any minute," Calum said calmly.

Just then, another car pulled up, and I recognized it immediately. It was Ryan's.

Calum stood in front of me as soon as he saw Ryan step out of his car.

I stepped over to the side to make sure Calum and Ryan didn't hit each other or something.

Ryan then walked over to me.

"Hey, ba-" he started to say.

"Don't you dare come near me! I know who you really are. You're not my boyfriend, you only wish you could be!" I said, cutting him off.

"How much do you know?" he asked.

"I know that you would always stalk me, you sexually harassed me, and you're the drunk driver that killed my mum and put me in a coma," I said, and his eyes widened.

"How did you know about the last one?" he asked.

"I had a dream about it, and that would explain why my 'boyfriend' didn't visit me in the hospital," I said.

Suddenly, I heard a siren. I saw a police car pull up and two police officers ran out.

Ryan was arrested for man-slaughter, DUI, and sexual harassment.

Not to mention that he also got a broken nose and a black eye from Calum.

After we watched them leave, Calum picked me up, spun me around, and kissed me.

"Get a room!" Ashton said and I giggled. I had completely forgotten he was there.

"Sorry, Ash," Calum and I said at the same time.

He sighed and said, "Well, at least now you guys can finally just be together."

Calum looked at me, smiled, and said, "He's right, so, what do you say? Will you be my girlfriend?"

I smiled and nodded. "Of course, I'll be your girlfriend!"

Almost a year later...

I was at one of Calum's shows in Ireland, and it was amazing! A couple even got engaged!

We were backstage for the meet-and-greet, and I stuck to Calum's side pretty much the whole time. The couple that got engaged walked over to us, and the guy seemed to know Calum.

"Calum, how are you doing, lad?" the man said, he had a thick Irish accent.

"I'm doing great, Niall! Oh, I'd like to introduce you to my girlfriend, Amber."

"Nice to meet you, Amber. I'm Ally," the girl said, she had a slight Irish accent, but it also seemed to be mixed with American. She looked really young, maybe 18.

"Nice to meet you, and if you don't mind me asking, how old are you guys? You seem very young," I said.

"I don't mind at all. I'm 18, and Niall is 23. I know that seems a little young to be engaged, but Niall and I have been together for a year now, plus we were friends for several years before we got together."

"Aw! That sounds like me and Calum! However, I'm only 16, and Calum's 20," I said.

"Amber, I can definitely tell that you are the most important woman in Calum's life just by the way he looks at you. One day, you guys will be in mine and Niall's shoes," she said.

"You watch Doctor Who don't you?" I asked.

"It's only my favorite show in all of time and space!" she exclaimed, and I laughed.

"I think I just found a new best friend!" I said.

"Oh my gosh, you should be one of my bridesmaids!" she shouted.

"I accept!" I said.

Ally and I hugged each other, and I knew that that was the start of a beautiful friendship.
