"C'mon, I want food," I yelled down the hall.
"I'm coming, I'm coming," Landon said back.
As I waited for him I took the time to appreciate the soon-to-be man that stood before me. 6'5" and all muscle. He had shaggy, dark brown hair. And his face, oh god his face. Eyes the colour of the Caribbean Sea, full pink lips that I found so kissable. Chiseled jaw covered in stubble...
"Like what you see?" He asked, tearing me from my thoughts. "If you take a picture it will last longer."
I looked at him, feigning disgust. "Why would I ever want to take a picture of you?"Laughing, he replied, "Everyone knows you want me Er."
I felt the blush creep up my face. Turning, I said over my shoulder, "In you're dreams lover boy. Now hurry up, I want fries."We walked in silence until we reached the entrance door. Looking outside I groaned, it was pouring rain. Neither of us had our cars, either.
I looked over at him, "Ready?"
He gave me a mischievous smile. "Ready when you are."
We ran for it, lucky that there was a Dick's only a few blocks away. The entire time we walked/ran, it was a competition of who could splash the other the most.
Finally, we reached Dick's and quickly ducked under the roof, huddling beneath the heaters. I loved Dick's food, but c'mon, bring us indoors.
We ordered our food and payed. Luckily the rain had dissipated and the sun made it's grand entrance.2/1/16
