I look up at the clock, 2:45, fifteen minutes and I can go home. I look back down at my paper, "A Day in my Life" was the only thing written, it was due tomorrow...

A paper airplane lands on my desk and knocks my pen out of my hand. I look up, searching for the owner. A guy a few rows over is staring at me, smirking.

"Open it," he mouths.

I look back down at the plane and slowly unfold it.

"Are you and Landon dating? If not, wanna fuck?"

I look back up at him, glaring. I crumple the paper into a ball and go back to my essay.

Soon, another plane lands on my desk. I look over at him again before opening it.

"That's okay, you're fat and ugly anyways."

Angry, I crumple it up and start gathering my stuff, the bell only a couple minutes away.

"Miss Kingston, please sit down, the bell hasn't rang yet," Mr. Carlson says.
I sit back down with an angry sigh. I just want to go home.

After the bell rings I quickly get up and rush out of the room, heading for my truck.

Halfway through the parking lot I hear my name being called. Turning, I see Landon making his way towards me.
"Hey," he says, "I thought we were gonna hang out?"

Shit.

"Oh, sorry Landon, I forgot. Um, how about you just come over and we'll watch movies or something?"

He smiles and nods. "Okay, I'll be over there in a bit," and runs off to his car.
I arrive at my truck and climb in. I sigh and lean my head against the steering wheel. I'm so done. After a few minutes I sit back up, start my truck, and drive home.

I get to my apartment, only to find the door slightly ajar.

I locked it this morning...what the hell?

I quietly open the door and creep inside, hoping to surprise whoever was here.

I get into the living room seeing that the TV and lights were on. The fridge door slams closed, startling me. I quickly turn, getting into a fighting stance, only to see Landon standing there with a box of pizza and a soda.
"Shit, Landon, you scared me. How the fuck'd you get in?" I ask him.

He points to the keys on the counter, "I have a key, remember?"

I silently curse myself for forgetting, apologise, then turn to go change my clothes.

Before I can get to my room, though, Landon calls out. "These were by the door, I brought them in for you," he says, pointing to a few boxes on the couch. I pick them up, confused and bring them into my room.

I change into some sweats before going back to the boxes. There was a tag on one of them.

"Beautiful gifts for a beautiful girl. -Your secret admirer"

I open the first box to find a beautiful black and red lace dress. I might just need to use this.

In the second box is a bouquet of white roses and a small box of chocolates. The only thing running through my mind, who sent these?
