"What if there was another dimension where all of our favourite shows are real? And instead of us following their lives, they followed ours...I think that would be amazing!" Ashley yelled from somewhere in the back room.
"Sorry, but I don't think you're logic is very good," I told the short blonde emerging from the large storage closet.
"You are such a buzz kill."
"It's my job, young one," I tell her, tapping her nose with my pinky.
"I'm not that young," she defends.
"To me you are Short Stuff."
"I'm not- oh...well...damn it, I don't wanna be short," she cries.
"Trust me, you don't wanna be tall either," I say, as I narrowly avoid slamming my head into a shelf. "Too much to watch out for."
The bell rings on the front door, signalling a costumer.
Walking to the front, I wipe my hands on my black skinny jeans.
Looking up, I smile, "Hi, my name's Erin, how may I help you today?"
A god of a man stands before me. "I'm looking for something that my daughter would like."
Oh damn, British, my weakness. "What sort of things does your daughter like?"
He looks slightly taken aback by the question. "Uh, well, you see, I've never actually met her...per se... It's more of a, 'hello I'm your father, I'm sorry you're bitch of a mother never told me about you,' sort of gift. I've never actually met her..."
"...oh...well...let me see...how old is she?"
"Eighteen."
"Okay, I can do this. Ashley, could you come help me?"
