About three hours, two minutes, and fifty-three seconds after Aiden had sneaked out to go stop the end of the world as we know it, Jenna found herself with a mouth full of soggy, fuzzy carpet. It would appear as though she had fallen out of bed, seeking the body heat of the man no longer there.

She didn't know how long she had been on the floor, but by the amount of drool flattening the otherwise very fluffy thing, she assumed it had been a while. She had taken the covers with her, and the smell of Aiden still lingering in them had her contemplate not moving at all.

That, and her very sore body. She had engaged in rather strenuous activities the day before, and now every single one of her muscles were loudly complaining. Her body seemed very keen on informing her that this kind of work-out? It was not something you just jumped straight into without warming up. She was very sore, but... In a very pleasant way.

Eventually, the need to feel fresh again outweighed the want to just remain very, very still. And so did her curiosity. She had learned from their conversations yesterday that she wouldn't return to Hill, at least not in the foreseeable future. While a little saddened by this fact, she was far too curious about this new home, the haven, to really dwell on it.

In the bathroom, by the side of the sink, a clearly stuffed, large envelope was laying in wait for her. It was made out of some sort of luxurious looking, thick yellow paper with visible texture, and adorned with a black dragon in the lower left corner. " My Love" it read in a handwriting she had seen often enough when re-reading the card from the roses. She had kept that one in her wallet ever since, looking at it whenever she was feeling a little sad.

She opened the envelope, revealing several items; a map over haven, clearly marked with "you are here". Some coins of a decidedly unfamiliar currency. A couple of pictures of Aiden, too, and a neatly folded note.

My Beloved Jenna

I did not want to leave you without these necessities, but knowing how stubborn you can be,

I though it best to simply leave it here, rather than handing it to you. (Do not misunderstand,

I do so adore the stubbornness.)

I hope I did not wake you up when I left, and that you have had a wonderful night's sleep. I am so

sorry if I did. Know it was not on purpose.

I am leaving you with money. I have seen enough of the human world to know this could be misinterpreted in a most horrible way after what we did yesterday, so I wanted to write you a note to explain.

The money is not at all a... payment of services... but merely a gift for a loved one. I could have

left you jewelry, flowers or sweets, as is the more common custom, and I assure you you will have

those as well. But for now, I believe money in the local currency is what you need the most.

There should be enough there for you to live quite comfortably, and not lack anything until my

return. I must insist you try to do so, I would hate to return only to find you starved to death in

my guest bedroom.

You are free to walk around my home, and regard it as your own. Everything mine is yours, should

you want it. And I desperately hope you do! However, I would request that you please do not attempt
