The warm wind blew across the street. The sun beats the hard summer rays down the ground, trying to weave through the gaps of the thick leaves on the tree; another season fading fast.

Two shapes sits under the shade of the tree; two little kids, to be exact. The little girl has her eyes closed, resting her head on the boy's shoulder. The boy has his mind buried in a book. They looked like the perfect match, but if you looked just a bit closer, you can see they looked very alike: the slick black hair; the unnatural slightly dark skin tone; the unapproachable aura; but most definitely the eyes, those out of focus eyes, that see the reflection of no one but each other.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't the Night twins." A high and faked voice traveled into their ears. Not bothered by the intruder, they remained still and ignored her.

The intruder seems to be mad that she was completely ignored, she raised her voice again, "Hey! I'm talking to you two!" The boy lifted his head. The girl standing before them is Anna. Anna is the most next-to-perfect girl in the whole orphanage, except for the fact that she doesn't have a family and never knew who they were. Many people wanted to adopt her before, but she turned them down, in search of a perfect family. Recently she finally accepted to be adopted by this perfect couple; nearly perfect life and perfectly rich. Of course they're only considered imperfect because they never had a child, but quoting from Anna, "We're now a complete and perfect family."

Everyone treated Anna like a princess and owns the place— although there are not much to own— except for these two, Glacier and Ocean Night. They've always been the tiniest ones in the orphanage, been taunted and excluded, but shown no reaction, like they don't care at all. Eventually, the kids got bored and stopped teasing them. The twins still have no friends, because Anna ordered the whole orphanage to not get close to them.

Deep down, she's jealous of them, they are obviously twins, if the similar looks didn't prove that, some nun said they were found together in the same basket. She also heard that they had some family heirloom with their name on it that came along with them. Anna is jealous that they always had each other; they have someone blood related around them. What does she have? Nothing. From her early memories, the twins were the most perfect people in the orphanage, she tried her best to catch up to them and be the good little girl, she succeeded.

For some reason, they went out one night and haven't come back until the next day. It was then they lost their shine, something must have happened, they changed in some way. Anna couldn't recall much of it; she was too little to remember the details.

"What do you want?" The cold voice snapped Anna back to reality.

Anna took a look at Glacier and Ocean, still the same old clothes and same old expressions, nothing special.

"Hmph! I just got adopted by a rich family, and everyone is throwing me a farewell party, and it's going on right now." Anna emphasized on the word 'everyone'. She wanted Glacier and Ocean to know how likable she is, but, sadly, the two didn't give her any reaction. Ocean went right back to his book, and Glacier didn't even bother to open her eyes.

"So? What does that have anything to do with us?"

Anna got more furious, "If Nun Amy didn't ask me, I definitely wouldn't invite you."

There was a moment of silence. "Alright, Ocean, if Nun Amy wants us there." Glacier had already stand up by now and offered Ocean her hand. They followed Anna's steps

Nun Amy was their favorite; she was the one who took them in when they showed up on the doorsteps, although the orphanage was running out of money during those times, she's the only one who seemed to care about them at all. All the other nuns probably don't even know their existence. They were just so invisible, but they are perfectly happy with that, unlike some other attention hog.

Glacier and Ocean were deep in thoughts and didn't pay attention to where they're being lead to: deeper into the forest.
