Everyone was screaming the band stopped. People were running some trampling the ones who fell, I heard cries, wailing, bones getting smashed, and the smell of burning flesh. Everywhere was smoky and Jess was standing there in shock.
"C'mon Jess I know a way out!!" I pulled her through the hallway into the bathroom I opened the window and climbed out. Jessica looked back and climbed out. We ran outside a little ways away from the building, we crouched down gasping for breath.
"Oh my gosh I'm so glad you guys are okay." Collin walked up to us with a beer in his hand. "Are you in shock here this will help you." He gave her the beer and tipped it for her to drink more.
"We don't need your help you jerk." I told him.
"Well I'm in complete survival mode and right now I think the best choice right now is my van and the band now let's go." Collin said as he knelt down. He was really talking to Jessica not me.
"Yeah I want to go with your band." Jessie said shaking her head. He walked her into the back of the van.
"Jessica! Please don't go into the van we have a car! All I want to do is go home and watch a movie with you and my parents now please let's go!" I cried.
"Oh shut up Cortney! I'm gonna go I'll smell you later." That was the last time I saw the real her. I'm going to get more into what I mean by that later. Collin slammed the fine shut and smiled at me. He got in and drove off. She looked so clueless before he closed the door. I never got to say goodbye.

I was driving home with tears running down my face. My eyeballs hurt from so much crying. It was maybe 20 minutes until I got home. I ran inside into my parents room. "MOM!" I shouted through the house and checked every room through the house no one was home. I went into the bedroom and called Max.
"Hello? Cort it's 11 o'clock I thought you were seeing that band?" He said.
"The Tavern burnt down. Jessie is gone with that band and they looked crazy we need to go find her!" I cried.
"Calm down. Who cares about what Jessica is doing. What matters is that The Tavern burnt down. What happened?" He said in a shocked voice.
"Well it started by the curtains, then it traveled to the ceiling and then flaming ribbons were falling on people then everywhere was fire and people were trampoline other people you could hear their bones breaking and it smelt like burning flesh." I winced at the thoughts.
"Oh my god you're okay right?" He asked.
"Yeah, but we need to find Jessie!" I shouted.
"What's the model of the van?"
"I don't know an 89 rapist?" The doorbell just rang. "Someone is here and I'm all home alone!"
"Oh great where's your mom." He said as I made my way down the stairs.
"I don't know can you just stay on the phone with me." I asked. I made my way to the window and looked out. Nothing.
"Do you need me to come over?"
"I don't know maybe." Then I pulled the door open to see nobody. "Great no one is here I'm probably just hearing things. I gotta go I call you tomorrow."
"Okay goodnight love you." He hung up the phone and probably went back to sleep. I saw a shadow run across the wall. I walked into the kitchen and checked. I heard the dripping from the sink. I slowley walked over to turn it off. I heard loud breathing right behind me. I turned around and saw something horrifying my heart shattered.
