Chapter 7:

Right now I was walking into the school and I'm still getting quite a few stares. I hate it. I was looking for Mandy. I've called her like 3 times and texted her about 7 times, but she never replied.

"Mandy!" I yelled out and I spotted her. She just walked away faster. Weird. "Mandy! Wait up." I yelled out again, pacing up to her. She finally gave in and stopped.

"Hey..." She said trailing off.

"Hey. Did you not get all of those texts I sent you or something?" I asked.

"I did." She said, eager to leave.

"Then how come you didn't answer them?" I asked becoming confused.

"Yeah.... About that... Um... We can't really hang out anymore...." Mandy said, avoiding eye contacting with me.

"What do you mean?" I asked her, becoming more confused.

"Well, you see... I kind of told my parents that... Well... That you are... Pregnant." She said in a hushed voice.

"You what!?!?!" I practically yelled out.

"Look. I'm sorry, they always ask questions and stuff and I had to tell them. Now they don't want me hanging out with you, calling you, or texting you." She said.

"And your going to listen to them?" I asked.

"I'm sorry, I have to. You know how my parents are." Mandy said.

"Yeah. But... You can't be serious! Mandy you are like the only person I hang out with. What am I supposed to do?" I asked, finding this unbelievable.

"I'm sorry" Mandy said. With that she left me standing there, in the middle of the hallways, dumbfounded. I can feel all eyes on me. Why! Just why did this have to happen. She was like the only friend I actually trusted.

"See, even your own best friend left you. Slut." Lora said, brining me out of my shocked state.

"Leave me alone." I muttered, trying to get to my class.

"Excuse me? Do not tell me what to do!" Lora said, moving in font of me to keep me from leaving.

"I said leave me alone!" I yelled at her then pushed her out of my way. I was walking, until I bumped into someone.

"Sorry" I said, not bothering to look up.

"Not so fast." The big deep voice said. I look up and oh shoot. It was Mr. Colton ... my principal.

"I saw that little act you did back there." He stated.

"What are you taking about?" I asked confused, again.

"You yelling and pushing that girl over there." He said, pointing to Lora.

"What? No! She was bothering me so I told her to leave me alone and she stopped me from leaving. So I told her to leave me alone again, then pushed her out of my way so I could get to class." I said trying to defend my self.

"Well. I'm sorry but that excuse is not going to cut it." Mr. Colton said, not believing me.

"It's not an excuse! It's true!" I said, annoyed that he didn't believe me.
