Well, this concludes my mass Christmas update. Hope you enjoy :) I'm aiming to write another update for New Year's, but no promises.

Elsa and Toshiro stared at one another for a long moment. Then, abruptly, the white-haired boy spun around and walked away as fast as he could.

"Wait-"

Her call simply made him pick up his speed. Was the miniature blond insane? There was no way the Captain had time for this! Now... how could he aid his search and retrieval? There was no doubt the sudden disappearance of one of the Gotei 13's esteemed leaders would draw attention. Until then, what needed to be done? Because he wasn't in a gigai and his spiritual surppressor wasn't on him, Toshiro was outputting a rather impressive amount of reiatsu. Speaking of which, he was impressed the girl was still conscious. But...

A vein pulsed on his forehead as she continued to trail him, and not even making any attempts to hide it.

"Why are you following me?" He finally turned around to acknowledge her.

Toshiro swore her whole face brightened. "Are you like me?"

He raised an eyebrow, silently answering her question with his own.

Her nose crinkled with thought as she tried to explain. "You have this... glow about you. It feels like my magic."

"Magic." Toshiro stated skeptically.

Elsa responded by grinning and swirling her hands together. Glitters of light formed between her palms, and before Toshiro could comprehend it, a snowman was thrust proudly into his face.

The other ice wielder looked much more interested now. Without a word, he snapped his fingers, and a scale figure of the girl was displayed to her amazed expression. Not willing to be outdone, Elsa twirled with her arms splayed out, turning the room into a winter wonderland.

Toshiro nodded in approval, feeling much better in his itchy suit and the summer heat.

Elsa laughed in delight, running towards her new companion as fast as her feet could carry her, and latched onto his arm. "I haven't met anyone like me before! What's your name? Where did you come from? Why are you here? How did you learn to control your powers like that? Can you teach me how to do that?"

Toshiro cut her off gently. "I'm sorry, but I can't. I happen to be a very busy person, and many people are looking for me."

Elsa pouted. "Awww. Just one day wouldn't hurt."

Toshiro considered it. What she claimed was true.

"Fine. Just one day."

The brat was persuasive. And manipulative.

A day turned into two, which turned to week, and eventually, a month.

"Come on. Just one more day, Toshiro?" Elsa begged. She still couldn't pronounce his name correctly.

"It's Hitsugaya-taicho to you." His mouth said automatically. "And I've been here too long already."

Elsa complained, "You always say you need to go and you have a lot of paperwork. But you don't actually, do you?

"Of course I do," he bristled slightly. "And I loathe falling to the level of a freeloader."

"It's not like anyone can see you. Plus, we have plenty of things to spare," Elsa pointed out. She was still a bit unsure of the whole 'spiritual' thing and 'alternate dimension' explanation she had pried from Toshiro.

"I cannot stay here forever. I have duties as a Captain."

"But it isn't like you can do anything, right?" Elsa burst out. "You have to wait for someone to come and get you anyway, so you might as well stay here and teach me."

Toshiro hesitated. "Fine," he finally relented. She was too persuasive for her own good.

Elsa beamed. She wasn't going to let her friend leave so easily.

Yes, it's short. But I'm tired. And, this is the story I have the least inspiration for now. It just started as an idea for me, but i felt guilty everyone like it so much, so I continued to write it.
