If cards could burn
From tables spun
I'd be engulfed
In flames, be done
But yet I'm here
Bring fourth the fire
To shine a spark
On new desires
I'll be the glow
to save my soul
And yours as well
From depths like my
Personal Hell
The side effects
Are quite severe
Almost was I
in a bier
But underneath
Cardiac cartilage
The pink is charred
Healing with it
The pain of flames
The pain of Hell
scorching my heart
Reminds myself
These wounds sprung from
Someone's cruel fire
Though the one in my heart
of hopeful desire
Scorches their burn
The lesson be learned
Even when coated in gasoline
The match of destruction ends with me
