The next day, I woke up, tired from running around so much yesterday. It was a Sunday, and since I didn't complete any homework yesterday, I had to stay home and complete it. And god did I have a lot of homework.

Waking up, I hurriedly got dressed and ate breakfast, pancakes, which has always been my favourite.

As I was about to keep my plate, I got a call. From you.

"Hello?"

"Hey, uh wanna hang out today?" Your voice sounded hopeful.

"I can't. I have like tons of homework to do..don't you have homework?"

"I completed mine yesterday night."

"Whatt?! Seriously??? Well I can't today. Sorry." I say and we hang up.

What the hell. How do you even have the energy to do all your homework yesterday night after such a tiring day?

Pushing that thought to the back of my mind, I go to my desk and open my science book. Staring. Wow the questions are so hard. How did you even manage to complete everything by yesterday?

As I was staring at the book(still at the first page) for like 45 minutes racking my brains for the answer, there was a sudden doorbell.

Assuming that it was just the mailman delivering whatever my mother had ordered, I went to answer the door. Well, my parents were overseas for some family business and will be coming back only next month, having left last week.

I barely paid attention to the person in front me as I opened the door, digging my pockets for a pen to sign. When I eventually looked up, I was super shocked to see that it was you. What were you even doing here at like 0900.(I know I woke up early..it was with the burden of the homework)

"Hello! Your study date has arrived!" You say, smiling.

"What..."

"Are you going to make me stand outside the whole time?" You ask, pouting.

"Oh right..come on in"

"Have you completed even one question?" You ask, leading the way to my room.

"Uhh..no"

"I knew it. Come on, I'll teach you." You treat the house like it's yours and I'm your guest, opening the door for me, sitting down on my chair, and even grabbing the pen casually from my stationery holder.

So we spend the day studying, completing every single question. We did science and English until we came up to math- my weakest subject.

Staring at the question, I didn't even understand what they were asking me to find. Is it 'x' or is it 'g'? I don't know.

Looking up, I saw that the time showed 1345.

"Omg look it's past one! We haven't eaten lunch yet. Let's go! I'll go and cook some noodles."

"How about we complete this first?"

"But you see I have so many math questions, it's going to take me more than 2 hours to complete them. Plus, I can't think with an empty stomach."

"Fine." Happily, I skipped out of the room towards the kitchen, taking out two packets of instant noodles and putting them on the stove.

To waste more time, I even took the effort to chop up some vegetables and add them in. To my horror, I barely killed 5 minutes. I hurriedly cracked open two eggs to add to our noodles. Eggs take longer to cook.

Once everything was cooked, I set up the table, even making some rose syrup.

"Here, lunch is ready."
