I woke feeling slightly excited. Haha. I shouldn't be but I am. Why? Because you texted me yesterday night. Telling me you will fetch me to school today at 0700.
In reality, I shouldn't be excited at all. In fact, I should be super nervous, jittery and scared. Today, I'll be giving my campaign speech to be in the Prefectorial Board Executive Committee(PB EXCO).
Yesterday after you left, I stayed up pretty late trying to rehearse my speech. But I couldn't really do it. I can't really do public speaking and I'm kinda nervous in front of large crowds, so yeah. Ironic that I'm running for the PB EXCO right?
But I could think of nothing but to make you some breakfast, seeing that you usually don't have breakfast at home. Yeap, I know you.
Pushing the whole campaign speech to the back of my mind, I hurriedly entered the kitchen, thinking of what to make you. Eventually, I settled on some Egg and Mayo sandwiches. (The fridge was practically empty...time to stock up😁)
It was a pretty easy recipe, and I made it quickly. Packing it into a paper bag and then taping it down with a huge heart shaped sticker, I went to get dressed.
The school I go to has a uniform so I don't really get to decide what to wear, but at least I can choose my hairstyle. Today, I went for a neat look, since I will be giving a speech after all.
Once I was ready, I absentmindedly wore my shoes, my mind still thinking about what you would say later when I gave you the sandwiches.
A double honk alerted me that you had arrived already. Happily, I skipped towards your car and got in, grinning.
"Someone's in a happy mood," you say, chuckling.
"Haha nah I'm just happy because I cooked today. For you, see" I said, showing the paper bag to him.
"For me?"
"Nope, it's for my mum." I answered sarcastically. You ignore my reply as you open the paper bag and grab a sandwich, swallowing a huge bite.
"Wow you can cook!" You commented. I gave you a nice little whacking on the arm.
Laughing, you passed the paper bag back to me and started driving to school.I was listening to the radio music (One Direction's Perfect) when you nudged my arm.
"Hmm?" I was still focused on the music.
"Baby, I'm hungry..." You pout.
"Okay, then eat," but just as I said it, I realized what you wanted me to do. Colour immediately rose to my cheeks as my hands shook, trying to get the sandwich out of the bag. I was cool with making breakfast and everything but for feeding, I'm just shy okay.
Shakily, I brought the sandwich up to you mouth, which was ready to eat. Slowly, you bit the sandwich, then chewed it, swallowed it, and took another bite again. And all this while, I'm just desperately trying to stop my hands from shaking.
I fed you about two and a half sandwiches, the time that it took for us to arrive at school. You parked the car, stuffed the last half of the sandwich into your mouth and got out, meeting me on the other side.
"So, uh I'll see you in later on oka-" I didn't really get to complete my words as you interlaced our fingers and pulled me along, in the direction of my first class, even when yours was at the other end of the school.
I was a bit uncomfortable because people were kind of staring at us. They knew that we were together and they didn't know that we had this seven days thing, but still, people were hoping that we would break up. We had not done any PDA for like weeks and some people actually thought we broke up. So this is like a shocker.
