Shattered glass. (An adoption story)

Chapter 11

-Janie's pov-

As of now perrie was my nanny. She's been hanging out with me basically every day since she got hired. I've grown closer to her over the past few weeks. Tour was a little more then half over and I barely ever get to see my dads anymore, they are always doing a concert, or a meet and greet during the day, and at night they are too tired to spend time with me. We travel from hotel to hotel almost every night and perrie is with me 24/7. Me and her play games, do girly things, and sometimes watch the concerts. If I'm lucky and there is enough time I get to swim in the pool.

I've been getting very good lately, I can hold my breath for over 2 minutes, and I've basically mastered every trick.

Perrie was with me at the hotel while the guys were at a concert. They specifically said my bed time was 9pm, but I wanted to wait for them to come home before I went to sleep..

I'm sitting in my bed and it's about 1 in the morning. Perrie thinks I'm asleep and she's in the living room somewhere

I hear the door downstairs and the guys talking. I feel myself getting excited as I hear footsteps pass my room hoping my dads will come check on me or tuck me in but they don't ....

I stand up tip toeing across the ground and opening my door slightly and I creep into the kitchen where every one is and I hear them talking about that nights performance.

They notice me in the door way and they all look up at me

Liam: "why aren't you asleep Janie" he says sternly

I go to whoever is closest to me which happens to be zayn and I get up on his lap wrapping my arms around him hugging him

"Because ... I wanted to see you before I went to sleep"

Liam: "that really isn't an excuse Janie, we said your bedtime was 9. And it's 1 in the morning."

My eyes well up with tears as I stare at the wall. I can't believe that they don't want to see me ... I haven't seen them in forever ..

I ignore what Liam says and I nuzzle my head in zayns chest and his arms are loosely around my back

Zayn: "come on Janie.. Get to bed"

He gently pushes me off his lap so I'm standing and a few tears go down my face. Why am I so emotional...

I run to Niall and I wrap my arms around his legs and I try to hold back my tears that are threatening to roll down my cheeks

"No.. I don't want to"

I know I'm breaking the rules but I don't care .. I want to spend time with them

Niall: "Janie ..."

I feel myself getting scooped up and I'm being carried back to my room. I am so frustrated.... I start to kick and scream like a little kid having a tantrum. And at this point I don't care what my age is. I'm upset

Harry: "Janie!! Shhh!! Stop crying babe!"

I kick even harder as i feel myself being laid down on a bed and I'm being held down by Louis and Liam and Harry brushes my hair out of my face

My face is covered in tears and I'm sobbing my eyes out as I lay there surrounded by all five of my dads

Zayn and Niall sit on the bed next to me and they look at me in a concerning way

Zayns voice is just above a whisper

Zayn: "what's gotten into you sweetheart?"

I try to talk in between sobs

"I .. I just .. I want..."

I wipe my face as more tears stream down

Harry: "you want what babe?"

I feel his hands wiping my face

"I.. I want .. I want you!.. I'm tired of you guys not spending time with me! I miss you!"

I hear nothing, I just feel Harry's hands gently wiping my face off

After a few seconds of silence I feel all of them get on my bed and when I open my eyes they are all laying next to me and all five sets of eyes are staring at me

Liam: "we know we've been busy a lot lately baby and were sorry for that. But we always have time for you Janie ..."

Someone pulls me in their arms and I look up at its zayn. I wrap my arms around him tightly and I'm still crying

Zayn: "shh Janie. Look at yourself babe .. You're exausted"

I press my palms to my eyes sniffling

"I don't care, I just want to be with all of you.."

Niall: "we're all here for you whenever you need it sweetie

I nod and wipe my eyes and I look up and I see Niall smiling at me

"Why are you smiling?" I sniffle

Niall: "cause you're cute"

I cover my face and I let out a giggle and I wipe my face

The mood instantly lightens as the rest of the guys crack a smile

Louis wipes off the rest of my face, and then I lay my head gently on zayns chest.

Liam: "hey listen sweetheart .. How about every time we get home late we all tuck you in and one of us sleeps with you. How about that?"

I nod slowly and then my eyes get heavy

Niall: "and don't forget that we all love you no matter what.. And we will always have time for our daughter"

All I can do Is smile.. My tearstained face is no longer covered in tears .. I love my dads..

"I miss being with all five of you .."

Harry: "we'll were all right here for you Janie."

"Wait you're all sleeping with me?

Zayn leans down to my face kissing me all over

Zayn: "yes" *kiss* "we" *kiss* "are"

I laugh and I instantly feel better about everything cuddling into zayns chest

-nialls pov-

My poor baby girl is so overtired ...

And at first I thought she was just having a tantrum over nothing, but she just misses us. We have been busy so much lately .. And I feel like an awful father.. But we're here for her now

We all spend the night in Janie's big bed. I love when all of us are together. It's like family bonding time .. As weird as that sounds...

That night Janie is sprawled in between me and zayn and all of us are draped over eachother.

And we all sleep like babies

Hey people! Sorry for the shitty chapter .. It's hard to explain. I have so many ideas for this story, but it's hard to get it typed out!

I also just recently landed a job as a waitress. It's very hard work, and I get busy with it so I'm sorry this chapter took so long!
