Chapter 8

-Liam's pov-

I wake up in the morning and it's about noon, no one is up. What the hell?

I walk into nialls room and him and Janie are snuggled up together and she's wrapped in a blanket.

Niall sees me and he yawns

"Niall .. Why does our daughter look like an Eskimo?"

He shrugs and closes his eyes and I pick up Janie and she wakes up

I hold her bridle style to my chest

"Rise and shine baby girl!"

I kiss her forehead and she smiles.

I slowly unravel her from her blanket and she stands up on the bed while Niall is asleep again

"Make him wake up sweet pea!" I say as I'm walking out of the room

-Janie's pov-

This morning was crazy .. I don't know what I was thinking when I went outside. When Niall helped me and he put my hand to his mouth and I felt his warm air It just shocked me ..like I imagined my mom.. but in my dream no air came out of her mouth ...

I decided to try to wake Niall up

I sit on his body and i pat his cheeks

"Wake up.."

He wraps his arms around me pulling me down into him and I laugh

Niall: "do you feel better this morning?" He says rubbing his eyes

"Yeah.. I'm sorry for fighting you when you were trying to help me. I was really cold..

Niall: "babe. What made you go outside?"

He runs his fingers through my hair

"I had another bad dream.."

He kisses the top of my head and hugs me

Niall: "well I'm here if you ever want to cuddle" he smirks

I nuzzle my head into his chest and we lay like that for a little while

-------------------------------------

-zayns pov-

I'm sitting in nice lawn chair next to the pool outside and Harry is swimming doing weird tricks..

Liam: "ya know Harry you kind of look like a retarded fish.."

Harry: "fine ... Help me out please"

He holds up his hand

Liam takes his hand to help Harry out but Harry tugs forward causing Liam to fall into the pool causing a huge splash

I laugh at the site and Louis sprints from behind and he catapults in the pool and all I hear is splashing

"Freakin idiots" I smirk

A few minutes later Niall walks out in his swim suit and he's holding Janie's hand

"Hi baby girl!" I smile and Janie comes over and sits on my lap

Niall: "she doesn't want to go swimming"

I pull her hair back and I run my fingers through it

"Why don't you want to swim?"

Janie: "because..."

"You can tell me you know.." I give her a big smile and she smirks and hugs me

Janie: "I don't know how to swim"

Harry yells from the pool

Harry: "Janie girl we can teach you! You won't drown"

She shakes her head and hugs me tighter

"Awe come on baby... I'll go in If you do" I smile and that causes her to smile too

Janie: "fine!"

I get up and I go to the shallow side of the pool and I step in and it's only ankle deep

"Alright Janie come on"

Just as she's about to step in, Niall jumps in from the deep end causing water to splash everywhere and a few drips get on Janie

She then backs up hesitating

"Come on baby, come here"

I hold out both of my arms this time and instead of stepping in the pool she Just holds out her arms.

I instead pick her up and hold her so my arms are around her butt and I walk towards the deep end and she grips my body really tight

"You don't have to be scared I have you"

She relaxes a little and I turn her around so she's facing the guys and I keep my arms around her middle so she won't go under

Louis: "see that wasn't so bad!"

"Okay babe I'm going to let you go and you try to stay afloat alright?"

She tenses up and when I let go of her I keep my arms close to her in case she struggles but she doesn't. She stays floating

Niall, Harry, Louis, and Liam all start cheering for Janie and then she starts to doggy paddle over to Harry

Niall: "good job baby!!!!"

She giggles and she gets to Harry and he lifts her up and swings her around in circles and Niall splashes her at the same time

She's laughing her head off and he holds her upside down so she's almost to the water

Janie: "stop!!! Please that's scary"

She sticks to Harry like a leech and he lets go and she's still holding onto him

"Hey now! She's scared now Harry"

I take her from him and I wrap my arms around her

"Babe are you ok?"

She laughs and hugs me

Janie: "yeah! I want to swim more now"

I let her go to swim and she just swims everywhere

A few hours go by and us guys are sitting on the patio thing eating and Janie is still swimming

She loves swimming. And she's really fast. Like a fish or something

Niall is stuffing his face with chips while watching Janie

Niall: "hey guys, I think Janie has found her talent"

Harry: "just watch babe! In a few years time you will be a professional!"

She blushes at his comment and she goes back to swimming

"Remember to be careful Janie" I smile at her and she nods

Me and the guys are immersed in a random conversation and I take my eyes off Janie for a minute or two

. . . . .

I hear loud rapid splashing....

and when I look up Janie is underwater...

and she is struggling to stay above to breathe

Oh ... Shit
