"ready to go babe?" you ask your boyfriend of 2 years
you guys were about to leave to go to your families house for christmas
"almost," he says running up the stairs
"okay, i'll be in the car," you say walking out the door to your car
sammy finally arrives to the car and you guys drive to your parents house.
you feel sams hand touch up against your thigh and he squeezes it a bit.
"i'm so excited to see your family again, i love your family," sam says
"and my family loves you so much too babe," you say back
your family always talks about how you picked the right guy and how he's just amazing and you couldn't agree more.
the rest of the car ride was pretty silent with the radio quietly playing
you guys finally arrive at the beautiful house in malibu right on the beach. even though it was freezing, it was beautiful.
you see all your family and you share many hugs with different family members and they all greet sammy as well.
you all have a wonderful christmas dinner and open presents. after you finish opening presents sam tells you that there is one more.
"okay, Y/N you know i love you so much and i want to spend the rest of my life with you, i couldn't imagine being with anyone else," he says getting on one knee.
your put your hands over your mouth as he pulls out a small box out of his back pocket
"i love you so much baby, will you make me the happiest guy on earth and marry me?" he says smiling widely looking up at you
"yes, yes, yes," you say crying
you jump into his arms and burry your face in his neck
he puts you down and kisses your lips as everyone awes and takes pictures
you look over at your mom who is also crying and you hug her
this was definitely the best christmas of your life.
