kaidens pov:
i sat alone on the bus my dance team was in on our way to our competition. this was it, this is our last competition of the year and i was nervous as hell. i was also upset because my boyfriend sam couldn't make it. he really wanted to but he was busy.
i haven't seen him for about a week because he's been visiting his family in omaha and i've been pretty depressed without him.
i was snapped out of my thoughts by someone tapping on my shoulder.
"kaiden, are you alright?" one of my friends maddie questioned.
"yeah, i'm just nervous," i flashed her a fake smile.
none of my friends really likes sam and every time i talked about him they all didn't really care or pay attention so i just left it alone.

we finally arrived at our destination. the place we will be competing at. i started to become even more nervous because it is our biggest competition of the year and we will be competing against so many great teams.
i took a deep breath and calmed myself down.
we entered the building and began to practice our routines.
"kaiden! come on, focus!" my dance teacher spoke.
i couldn't get my footing right, i was having trouble remembering my parts because all i had on my mind was sam.

"up next is, Black Illusion!" the announcer spoke
"all right girls! go out there and give them what they want!" our teacher spoke.
we all ran out there and danced our hearts out.
everything was going so smoothly, until i forgot my footing once again, the judges all furrowed their eyebrows at me and i could feel them silently judging me.
everything just became a disaster after that, i managed to pull it together towards the end, but after we were done i got so much shit from my teammates
"kaiden what happened out there?! we were doing so good and then you ruined it!" my coach spoke.
"i honestly don't know i can't seem to focus on anything lately, i'm so sorry," i frowned.
she just fast walked away from me and i could just feel the disappointment.
i wiped away a few tears that fell from my cheeks as i walked toward the bathroom.
while i was walking i heard a familiar voice.
"kaiden!" the voice spoke.
i turned around to see the person i love and missed so much.
sam.
i ran to him and jumped on him wrapping my legs around his torso as i ran my fingers through his blonde hair.
"i missed you so much," i cried.
he put me down and handed me a huge bouquet of roses and wiped away the tears from my cheeks.
"baby, its okay. you tried your best," sam spoke sweetly.
i just continued to hug him, and in those few moments the whole world seemed to disappear and all of my troubles just faded away.

school has basically taken over my life and thursday i went to a jack and jack concert so i haven't had any free time to update.
