Two year has passed and I am actually glad that I haven't heard anything from him. My friend didn't updated me with their news all day because I told her not to. Whenever she slipped about the band or him in our conversation, she would sighed and apologizes. Now, I am starting to think that he probably already give up on me and he finally stop looking for me, which I am very happy about.

I went to my second work of the day at the café because I really need extra cash for me to survive.

"Welcome, may I take your order?" A redhead walked in the café, headphones stuffed on her ear out of her ears immediately as her stomach growled.

"I want a slice of orange cheesecake with a chocolate chip frappe please."

"I can do that, right now. Take away or here?" I waited for her, while printing the receipt.

"Here would be nice." She pulled out her purse and pay for the meal. I gave the receipt to my co-workers to work the meal for the nice lady.

I grabbed the napkin on the top counter and went to the table that are still untouched from our last customer. The mess, they made but I never get tired because working here is like working from home. It's nice, comfortable and they treated each other like family – even the customer. There's my boss, Katie and the one who's in charged in the kitchen is Joe and Tom and then there's me with Willa as the waiter and Quentin as barista. We bonded to each other pretty quickly when I first started to work here. They were all pretty amazing.

"Nat, go to table 5, ask him if he wants any coffee or anything. He's been here for about an hour now. Not that I care, but yes I do care about my customer." Katie approached me with her hands on my back, giving me such a comfort just like a mom's touch.

"Okay but is there any meals that I should wait?" I looked over to the kitchen and Joe asked me to wait.

I leaned over the counter, watching the surrounding. Only 6 tables are filled with people and only one table with no food yet. Willa are cleaning up the windows, the cooks are busy so are the barista. Ms. Katie are in the kitchen, watching Joe and Tom cooked. Looking at these situation, I feel thankful and blessed to be surrounded by these kind-hearted people.

The ding bell rang, telling me that the order for the redhead girl is ready. I thanked Joe and carefully take the plate to her table, with her muttering a thank you as her eyes doesn't leave the screen of her phone. I grabbed fork and spoon with a coffee so I could offered the guy for some more coffee.

"Hey sir, would you like so more coffee?" He nodded quietly and I poured it in his cup as Quentin called for me but he asked for Willa instead.

The guy with the coffee wears a hat, jacket and he seems sad. I didn't even look at his face because he had been staring out the window for quite a long time. His hair color is now black, matched his eyebrows as far I can see from the counter. He looks around, almost seeking for help and I rushed to him.

"Is there anything you want that I can help?" As soon as I spoke, his eyes met mine. The familiar green orbs gazing mine. I can't help but look at his features. His eyes looks tired, he changed his hair colour to black and his lips curved into a smile after he saw it was me.

"Michael. Hi, how are you doing?" He straighten his posture and I smiled at him – I am just glad that I see him now.

"Natasha!" Quentin yelled from the kitchen. "Excuse me, Michael. My shift will end soon, just about in 30 minutes. Can you wait for me?" I looked into his eyes, pleaded for him to say yes.
