"Chresanto baby, please don't leave me like this. Please please don't do this to me." I pleaded in his ear.

He wouldn't wake up.

"Chresanto please don't leave me. I need you. Our kids, they need you!!" My mother pulled me off of him as I continued to breakdown.

I played those words in my head over and over and over again.

That was three years ago.

That night was a night that would haunt me forever.

They tried to kill him. A bullet pierced his lung. And they beat him like he stole something. He almost died.

Well he did, but they brought him back.

That night I could have lost my husband, the father of my kids, my bestfriend. But God came through.

"Baby you okay?" He asked walking behind me.

I quickly wiped the tears that were streaming down my face.

"Yeah I'm fine, just thinking." I continued to wipe my face.

"Baby, it was three years ago. I'm right here with you. I ain't going no where, my love."

It was so amazing how he knew exactly what I would be thinking about.

He gently grabbed my chin and kissed my lips. I deepened the kiss, and smiled.

"I love you. And I'm sorry, I just get so emotional. I could've lost you, Chresanto." I sniffed.

He sighed and kissed my forehead. "I'm right here baby, I ain't gone ever leave you."

I nodded, and wiped my eyes again.

"Now C'mon, you have a doctor appointment in a little." He smiled, rubbing my little belly.

I was five and a half months pregnant with a little boy, and I couldn't be more excited. But Chresanto, that man was so so so excited to be getting another boy.

CJ was now eleven, and Chrystal was now five. They were both sweet kids and made Chres and I extremely proud parents.

Chresanto's business was doing better than ever.

I finished medical school with my bachelor's degree and I also started a clothing line.

We had moved our family to Atlanta, Georgia, temporarily. We decided that so much had happened in Los Angeles and we needed a break from it.

"Alright Ash, we'll be back in a little while. The kids will be home from school soon. Thanks for watching them." I smiled.

"You're welcome, Auntie. Y'all be careful."
She smiled, hugging me.

I was so proud of Ashton. She graduated from college with a bachelor degree in philosophy. She was such a smart, sweet girl.

"Oh and somebody's birthday is coming up. What do you want auntie?" She grinned.

"Baby, I don't want nothing. I just want a happy family, and a healthy baby. That's all." I smiled. "Ill talk to you later."

"C'mon Chres!" I yelled.

"Alright, I'm coming!"

He finally came downstairs.

"Hey punk." He ruffled Ashton's hair.

She laughed. "Hey unc."

"Alright Ash, we'll be back." I said.

She nodded and closed the door.
