Petes pov
They arrived at a big fenced in area a few hours later that seemed to be the only place for miles around. They filed in with about four other buses and when they got off they were herded into a big area in what looked like a storage unit. They were given the first day speech that no one listened to and at the end had to find someone to room with and sign up for. After they were signed up they were informed that they were currently in the dining hall and they had to wait for everyone to get the rooms situated. At least they got to pick their roommates, so it couldn't be that strict.

After about another forty minutes they all had to go get into the assigned room and put their shit away before they were kicked out so the staff could check rooms to make sure there wasn't any drugs or anything in the rooms, because when sent away for three years from your home drugs were a need. Pete and josh unpacked a few bags between them and then just decided to leave the others closed for now, because they were lazy (me too tho).
Mikey's pov
He was told to find a partner to room with, and seeing as he hadn't talked to anyone yet he just grabbed the nearest boy that was willing to and decided that they were partners. They were now sitting in their shared room unpacking, turns out the kids name was Brendon, and Mikey kinda wanted to change his mind about rooming with him. Not because he wasn't nice, but because he smelled overwhelmingly of milk.
