I have an idea. Which is great because that like, never happens.

Brendon did eventually convince Mikey to wear the skirt the next day anyways, because Pete had already made up his mind and wasn't going to change it even if Mikey tried to convince him it was a joke, which was one of the things he had thought of doing in order to not lose Pete. He was told that if Pete was an asshole, to just ignore him and tell Brendon so he could "fix it." Mikey walked into class that day feigning confidence and did exactly that. But once Pete noticed he was being ignored, he got pissy. He called Mikey names and would pinch or trip him so Mikey would give in. Frank eventually told him to back off and got a "are you really defending the queer? You're a faggot too aren't you? You two are dating aren't you, you're going to hell."  Frank replied with a "nah he's not my type," before punching Pete straight in the face, or gay in the face, whatever. Which resulted in a fight and for Pete a broken nose. They eventually were stopped and they both got suspended and had to stay in their dorms with no contact to other people or electronics for two weeks. Mikey had slightly broken that rule by going to see Frank in his solitary confinement to yell at him for being a twat, but Frank explained that he had only done it so Mikey could get a break from Pete at school. Mikey ended up thanking Frank before going back to tell Brendon about the fight, because Brendon loved fights and hated Pete. Mikey ended up going the two weeks without getting bullied, but actually being slightly popular. Everyone asked about him and the fight that was supposedly about him, but that only lasted until Pete was allowed back in school.
