~10 years later~
A Falcon dove down into a valley. It flew right over the grazing Buffalo. Finally, it stopped, near the bottom of a mountain. It dove into a small cave, big enough to only fit one crow. The Falcon tucked it's wings in tight, and dove through the cave. The bird gained enough momentum to keep it's wings tucked, yet fly straight and make turns. It finally spread it's wings in a larger cave. It landed and let out a light squawk.

"I'm back, Banco." It said to the darkness.

A light went off near the back of the cave.

"Any Owls? Or other birds we could get to join?" Banco said, holding a lighted stick.
Nope, thanks to these buffalo the Owls stay away." The Falcon said.
Banco snorted and said "Enough of that talk, Ergo. How about you go check up on the other hatchlings, their more your age."
Ergo snorted and countered "I'm the oldest, though! And we are not Hatchlings! Plus, You carried me to your castle! Why can't I ever learn from you!?"

Banco looked down at his talons, and Ergo knew she shouldn't have said anything about The Great Battle.
Banco looked up and said "If you had known me in those days, you would not be yelling at me. Now go to the others, before you get me mad."

Ergo dropped her head in respect and walked off through a hole in the larger cave. Her eyes had adjusted to the dark lighting over the years. She stopped and waited, then heard the laughs of her HatchMates. She walked down the hall in a way that sounded like Banco. As she got close she heard them all become quiet. She stopped and burst into the room, making the nearest bird jump.

"AAAAAHHH! I'M SORRY BANCO! I'LL DO EXTRA STUDYING TONIGHT!"

Ergo laughed and once the other realized it was her, they laughed too.

The crow she had startled yelled at her "YOUR NOT FUNNY YOU LITTLE BITCH!"

The others stopped laughing.

"Wow, calm down there. What, did I hurt your precious feelings? Now shut up, Ito ... before Banco actually does find us not working, and fighting."

The others, obviously, nodded, and continued to study the scrolls. Ergo went over to the stack of scrolls and picked one out that said Stories of the Falcon Kingdom. Banco had made sure that none of the scrolls had adventure in them, but Ergo had managed to sneak one away from him when she was much younger. She picked up the scroll and sat in the corner of the cave, reading. After many moments of silence, Ergo and the others looked at the entrance to the Study Cave.

Banco yelled "All of you get out here! NOW!"

Ergo and the others knew there was trouble ahead, since Banco only yelled when it was important. Ergo feared the Owls had finally reached the cave. As the others ran out of the room, she hid the scroll and chased after them. As she got closer to the Main Cave, she could feel heat. She prayed to the Wind that nothing was hurting her HatchMates and Mentor.
