Chapter 2

It has been a few years since Lilly has been leader of the Lion Guard. Kion is the new leader. "Kion. Are you ready to take this mission?" Asked Simba. Kion nodded. "Then, I know grant you the new LEADER OF THE LION GUARD!" The whole pride cheered. "Papa! The elks are being attacked!" Said Kiara as she raced up the hill. "I'm on it!" Said Kion as he raced down. "He can do it!" Said Nala. "Shoo Jhou-Jhou!" Said Kion. "Never!" He said as he attacked Kion. Kiara whispered to Lilly. "KION!" She yelled. She ran as fast as she can and scratched the hyenas. Kiara roared. "Kiara?" Said Nala. Simba and Nala ran down the mountain with the pride after them. "Lilly!" Said Kion. Lilly started fighting Jhou-Jhou. "Grrr!" He said. He swatted Lilly but she scratched him. Simba arrived but Lilly and Jhou-Jhou rolled off the cliff. "Lilly!" He yelled. Jhou-Jhou and Lilly started falling towards the river. JJ(nickname for Jhou-Jhou) fell in the river. Lilly grabbed onto a ledge. "Lilly!" Said Simba as he climbed down the mountain. "Dad!" Said Lilly as she reached towards him. She slipped even more when she moved. "Dad!" She yelled. Simba grabbed her and threw her on his back. Kovu grabbed her paw and helped her up. "Thanks Kovu!" She said. Nala hugged Lilly. Simba climbed back up. The hyenas ran away. The kids weren't ever allowed to leave Pride Rock again. "Time for breakfast!" Said Nala. All the kids walked out. Lilly's bird friend, Emily, flew up to her. "Lilly!" She said. "What's up?" Lilly said. "The hyenas are attacking the deers!" Emily said. "But I can't leave!" She said. "But you have to!" Said Emily. Lilly sighed. "Sorry dad!" Said Lilly as she raced down the mountain. "Where's Lilly going?" Said Kion. "To save the deers!" Said Kiara. "But dad said not to!" Said Kion. "Let's tell him!" Said Kiara. The 2 ran up the mountain to tell Simba. "Father! Lilly left!" Said Kion. "She was told not to." Said Simba sternly. "She was going to save the deers." Said Kiara. Nala walked over. "Then, she disrespected us." Said Nala. "She is not part of the pride." Said Simba. Kion and Kiara looked nervously. "What's that Kiara?" Asked Kion, pointing at the smoke. "Fire!" Said Kiara. The deers were scrambling. "LILLY!" They yelled. Kion and Kiara raced down the mountain. "Kion! Kiara!" Nala yelled. They didn't listen. The fire blocked them from reaching Lilly. "Yikes!" Said Kiara. Simba ran and saw Lilly unconscious. Nala started crying. "Aww! Poor Simba lost their daughter." Said Zuri. "That's LILLY!" Yelled Kovu as he ran through the fire. "Kovu?" Said Nala. Kovu gave Lilly back to Simba. "She's not in our pride..... Anymore." He said as walked away.
