The Lion King: Lion Guard Fanfic

Chapter 9

"Kion! Hyenas in the Pridelands!" A deer said. "Lion Guard! Move out!" Kion said as he ran down. Lilly looked down and waved. She mouthed good luck. It has been a few hours since Kion left and now it has reached sunset. Fuli and Beshti ran towards Pride Rock. "Princess Lilly!" Fuli said. Lilly yawned and walked out. "Kion.....He...He!" Bunga said but slowly trailed off. "He what?" Lilly asked sleepily.

"He fell off a tree!" Bunga yelled. Lilly was wide awake now. "This way!" Fuli said as she ran towards a waterfall. Lilly hovered over the waterfall and slowly floated down towards land. "This better be an emergency otherwise I'm in big trouble for missing curfew." Lilly said warningly. "What would happen if you missed curfew?" Bunga asked. "Execution." Lilly said as she jumped over a boulder. Bunga stared at a tree with wide eyes. "There! This is the tree!" Ono said as he pointed towards the tree.

"And what is going on?" Simba asked, slightly annoyed. "They woke me up!" Lilly said. "Please Lilly! For Kion!" Bunga said, crying in full tears. "Fine. I'm pretty sure he's not dead." Lilly said. She walked along the tree branch and jumped into the water. Nala and Simba were waiting for Lilly. Lilly searched the river for Kion. Someone with red hair as a mane  was jumping up and down and dancing around. Lilly boiled with anger. "They....woke.....me....for Some PRANK?!?!?" Lilly yelled. "Run!" Bunga said as he started running. 

Lilly got out of the water. Simba and Nala helped their daughter out of the water. "Now...can we go back to sleep?" Lilly asked her parents. They nodded and walked back to Pride Rock. "Phew! She's not going to get us!" Ono said. "Oh I will. In the morning." Lilly said warningly. The Lion Guard gasped. "We're going to die!" Bunga cried. "Don't worry. I know Lilly and she won't kill you." Kion said. Soon enough, morning came. Kion awoke with a startle. "What's wrong son?" Simba asked. 

Lilly was enjoying the morning sunset. Gray clouds covered the Pridelands in a snap. Water gushing was heard in the distance. Lightning was also seen. "Flash flood!" Lilly said. Water struck the rock that Lilly was standing on. "Woah! Oof!" Lilly said as she fell in the water. "Dad! Flash flood!" Kiara said. "Where's your sister?" Nala asked. "She...was outside during the flash flood." Kion said with his eyes wide. 

Down by the canyon into the Outlands, Lilly was clinging onto a tree. She managed to pull herself out of the water current but the water kept pushing through into the Outlands. "Who knows how far I am from Pride Rock?" Lilly asked herself as she started walking back. She walked through a forest and saw lions in the sky. "The Roar of the Elders. Kion." Lilly said as she kept walking. But little did she know, that hyenas were following her.
