Chapter 10

"I can't wait to go see the elephants!" Kiara said as she ran down the hill. Lilly giggled and walked after her. Simba and Nala were laughing and walked after them. "Too bad Kion couldn't come." Kiara said as she jumped on rocks. "He has his own responsibilities." Lilly said as she jumped over a bunny burrow.

Simba stopped suddenly. "Simba. What's wrong?" Nala asked. "Did you feel that?" He asked. The ground started shaking. "Kiara! Lilly! Sinkhole!" Simba yelled. "A what?" Kiara asked. The ground split apart. Kiara started slipping in. She screamed. "A sinkhole." Lilly said as she grabbed Kiara. Nala took Kiara from Lilly and ran up hill.

Lilly helped her father up. The ground under Lilly started rumbling and it broke. She screamed. "Papa!" She yelled as she missed Simba's paw and fell into the sinkhole. "Lilly!" Simba yelled. The smoke started rising up. Meanwhile, with the Lion Guard. "Beshti! Help the baby!" Kion ordered.

Beshti swam under the baby and lifted him onto dry land. "There ya go!" He said. Ono started flying up and gasped. "Kion! A sinkhole! Your mom, dad, and Kiara are standing on the rim of it!" Ono said. "Lead the way!" Kion said as he ran towards his family. "Affirmative!" Ono said as he led Kion towards the sinkhole.

"Mom! Dad! What happened? Woah!" Kion said as he almost fell in. Simba caught him. "Careful now! Don't fall in like Lilly" Nala said quite sadly. Bunga was bouncing towards Kion but slipped and fell in the sinkhole. "Bunga!" Kion yelled. Bunga bounced off a rock. "Dude! Is that...her?" Bunga asked shakily.

In front of him was an unconscious Lilly, laying on a rock. "Bunga! What do you see?" Kiara asked. "Rocks. More rocks. Rocks. And and an unconscious Lilly" Bunga replies. Everyone slowly slid down and saw Lilly laying on the rocks. "Oh my god! My poor baby!" Nala said, crying. Simba walked towards his daughter. Kion was at his side.

"Well, well well! Looks like we found our way out!"
