Chapter 26💜

Priscilla's POV

*5:30 a.m. - First day of high school*

"SCHOOOOOOOLLLL!!!" I shouted as I'm running out of my room, then zooming inside Daniel's bedroom. I shook him by his left shoulder while whispering,"Daniel! Daniel! Wake up, it's the first day of school!"

He groaned and throw the blanket over his face. I try again but this time my tone was more intense,"Daniel, we're going to be late on our first day of school!"

Immediately, Daniel throws his blanket off and exclaimed,"What? Why aren't you dressed and ready, yet? Come on let's go!"

I lied and still acted,"I don't know! I forgot to set my alarm last night!"

He pushed out of the bed, exposing his shirt and boxers.. And his little speed bump,"There's no time for chit chat! Let's go- shit! Don't look at me! Go and get ready!"

I start laughing so hard at his reaction, my legs grew weak. But then I inhale to catch my breath and go back to being serious. I still try to resist my laughing and begin to have my face express seriousness,"I'm sorry -aha- I'mma go now."

I walk out of his room and begin doing my morning routine.

*7:00 a.m.*

I was ready and waiting for Daniel in the living room. He came out of the hallway, grabbed the house keys and escorted us out. As soon as he locked the doors he asked,"You didn't forget anything did you?"

I look down at my iPod and checked the time,"New record for the first day."

We start walking. Daniel gave me a confused look and ask,"Huh?"

I showed him the screen,"Look."

His eyebrows crept together before he squint his eyes and read it hard. Suddenly, his face became blunt,"Really?"

I laugh as I look down at the ground and respond,"Yup, really. Excited?"

"Sure" he faces away from me.

I glance, notice that he doesn't seem happy,"What's wrong?"

He shook his head, still looking away,"Nothing. Jus' tired."

I nod, understanding him, then look up at him,"Okay. If it makes you feel better, I didn't sleep well either."

Daniel slows down the pace a bit while his eyes met me,"Then how do you intend to be this energetic right now?"

"Positive thinking, Daniel. You should try that more often." I give him a big smile and a soft shove on the shoulder.

Still looking down at the ground for a little bit before he met my eyes with a chuckle.

That's more like it.

*6:28 a.m.*

We made it inside the school. Daniel showed me around campus and mentioned that zero period starts at 7:30.

As my eyes wandered around the hallways, I thought out loud to Daniel,"I wonder if Louis is here already."

"He'll be here soon-" Daniel was cut off by some group of boys that just threw a football at him on the temple, across the other side of the hallway. All of them were laughing at their mean action.

My eyebrows subconsciously knit in disapproval before I turn my sight, directly at them. Daniel was rubbing the harmed spot in his head and faced them, too.

The blond one shouted,"Oi, Danny! Is that your new ladyfriend or ladyfriend? Why don't you just come and introduce us to her, aye?"

I ask Daniel in a concern tone, my eyes glued at them,"Are they your friends or something?"
