The State That I'm In...

Jacob's POV

It was the end of school and I was walking to my locker. Natalie was so sad and depressed today. Although me, her, Chres, Asia and the rest have most if the same classes together.. Natalie couldn't even focus for the rest of the day. She was pouring her eyes out and ignoring everybody that was in her sight. Including me. I wouldn't blame her for that either.

Finding out that your bestfriend for basicially all of your life, messed around and fucked the ex-bestfriend that caused you mishap in your past while you were on your death bed... Is a pretty low blow! I mean I know I've done worse but that's taking it to a WHOLE other level. Seriously..

I opened my locker and grabbed my back pack out of it and closed it. I started to put books in my back oack until I heard soft sniffles. I looked up and saw Natalie leaninh on the locker next to mines.

"C-can you... Take me h-home? P-please??" She asked as she wiped her tears from her face with the sleeve of her shirt. I nodded my head.

"Sure." I smiled. I took her hand and we walked out of school.

We got to my car as I opened the door for her. She looked at me and showed a little smile.

"Thanks." She said.

"No problem." I replied as she got in and I closed the door for her. I jogged to my side and got in. I started the car and drove off.

Keeping my eyes on the road I heard more sniffles. I looked over to Natalie who gad her head leaning on the window. I was about to say something until I heard buzzing. I thought it was my phone, but I felt no vibration in my back pocket.

I looked over to Natalie, who was rumiging through her bookbag. She took out her phone and pressed answer. I just decided to keep my eyes on the road.

"Hey dad....Um I was going to... Oh.. Okay.... No i'm fine.... Yeah just go without me.... Dad, i'm sure... Okay... Love you too.... Bye." She said all in more sniffles.

"You okay?" I asked.

"Yeah, i'm fine. It's just that my dad got off of work early and we were gonna go out somewhere so I wouldn't have to pick up Shay... But I told them to go without me." She said in more sniffles.

"You want me to stay with you then?" I asked. I looked at her as she shook her head.

"No... I'm sure I'll be fine." She said as we pulled up to her house.

"Okay.... But you call me if anything goes wrong..." I said in a serious tone. She smiled and nodded. Before she was about to get out of the car, she leaned towards me and pecked my lips.

I watched and waited until she got inside of the house to drive off.

~Natalie's POV~

When I got into my house I didn't even bother locking my door for some reason.. I felt vibrating through my front pocket and pulled out my phone.

I picked up my phone.

"What Chresanto?!" I barked through the phone.

"Natalie, can you let me explain?" He asked in a calming tone.

"Explain what?! How you ran out on me to go fuck my enemy/ ex bestfriend while I was in the damn hospital?!" I yelled as tears continued to flow from my eyes.

"Natalie, can you let me explain for 2 seconds at the most!? Damn near 10?!?!" He yelled through the phone.

"Chresanto, I don't wanna hear your fucking explinations! I already have a feeling that she came onto you and i'm pretty sure that she did. And if she did, YOU went along with it!" I yelled back.
